About Adelina's "situation".
Maybe she will be able to win again. Yet I think it is normal, if Adelina doesn't want to say later: "I was a champion, then I was not successful for a few years, now I understand, that I am old and I should start working." We saw the test skates, but we know nearly nothing, we only know, that Russia has many strong girls.
If you want to know the truth about athletes, ask Yagudin. He says, that athletes are people without education, actually (in Russia, at least). They worked so hard in sport, that they even didn't know much about real life, they saw almost nothing. (it seems, the situation hasn't changed much) If these people don't become champions, it is really bad. If they are champions, their situation isn't much better.
The teachers don't see them frequently, when they study at school. Later most of the athletes study at special universities for athletes. As far as I understand, it means, that the teachers are not strict, they know, that for athletes the sport is more important than the education. It seems, all of the athletes become "coaches" there. Yet they don't become real coaches. Not all of them want to be coaches. This education is only better than nothing.
As for "money, money"... Adelina also has a sister, which is not healthy. Adelina says, that when the family needed money to help her sister, Vodorezova gave her own money, and Tarasova helped to get money.
I believe Adelina should think about her life and about her family, not about those people for whom her life is just a show. I think, that sometimes she doesn't know, what she is going to do.
I don't know what is the right way for her. I wish her good luck.

Just expecting some respectful treatment as a fan, say how it's gonna be Adelina, please. :scowl:
