If skaters are left handed

I wonder....if one is left handed....and is somewhat "forced" to jump and spin in the "normal"direction...how hard will it be?? I know it's been discussed earlier in the topic, but still.....

And I've never seen someone russian jump the oposite way....

I was always wondering about that too??? Maybe there was some pressure by the Russian coaches towards their skaters just to go the "mainstream way"? Though I'm not sure if Oblasova isn't a clockwise jumper? However, I'm escpecially curious about Klimkin, cause he can do his spins in both directions and it seems he does this with some ease, so maybe he could jump in clockwise direction as well?

One other thing: does left handed neccessarily mean that skaters should favour clockwise jumping? I've always thought that there is no correlation between left- and righthanded skaters and clockwise and counterclockwise jumpers. That is a left handed skater may find counterclockwise jumping easier, a right handed one prefer clockwise jumping? Can the dominant leg differ from the dominant hand in skating? Any statistics on that? According to the survey posted below, for 16 % of the population the dominant foot and hand differ and it's not the same side, but can these results be transferred to skating?

Dorothy Hamill is a lefty. I've met her and talked about her life as a lefty. Dorothy was (and I'm sure still is) also a charming lady. As a lefty myself, I thought Dorothy was a most likable lefty. :)
