Great outing for Ilia in the SP for so early in the season. Love the Shae Lynn choreo on him. I know how enamoured everyone is of the 4A, but that 4Lz-3T of his is my favorite! Wow! 7 revolutions in how many seconds?! Pretty amazing...Of course I have to mention, I'm not a fan of the black murderer gloves. Sorry. 
I'd like to see some expressiveness in his hands, and it isn't gonna happen with those gloves. Best of luck to him in the FS.

I know it's knit picky but the puffy sleeves and gloves are cutting off some of the extension he needs in his arms in this program. His lower body amplitude showed great promise as the program required. I also LOVE seeing this kind of program on him and I love the solid black. That first quad looked like a triple it was so butter. Good start, Ilia.

I meant to say aren't. Stupid spelling error. But yes those jumps were as smooth as chocolate ganache. This time last year, his jumps had wonkiness for his SP for the US Classic. This time though, they're great.

Won the Autumn Classic. Popped the loop and slight mistake at the end of the 3-jump combo, but he won by over 40. Great job!

Illia's jumps are so well done and his packaging this year is improving especially in the costume area. Great start Ilia. Looking forward to the GP and seeing how his artistry develops.
