The italian nats will be held next week, 20 / 23 December in Milano, Agorà rink.

Samuel Contesti, once competing for France will now compete for Italy, so we'll see if Zelenka will manage to keep his title.

Zanforlin / Degli esposti, the pair who has been many times roller skating world champion, has switched to ice skating last year and they will compete in nationals against Magitteri / Hotarek.

Yes, Caro should skate, though she'll be very tired for doing so many competitions in a row.. I think she'll be there anyway.


P.S She said today in an interview she'll be there and then come back home so , yes

Carolina has retired , she suffered of flu and did not yet recover. Marco Fabbri did the same.

Fabbri had a few chances anyway, since Contesti became italian (he looks very strong, although he's second after the SP because of a fall in the step sequence).

Carolina is obviously going to Zagreb, but since we have 3 spots fo the ladies there, probably the top2 will go to Euros with her.
Right now Stefania Berton is in 1° place and Valentina Marchei in 2nd.
As far as I know we have 2 spots for the ladies in Goteborg, and I'm quite sure the federation will assign them to Carolina and Valentina

What happened to Carolina Kostner? Someone said Carolina Kostner said she'd go in an interview, no?

I don't know if she's going to release an interview. The last official news was that she suffered from flu in these days and could not train. I think that probably she didn't want to risk and stress her body for a "minor" competition like Nationals, as she's focusing on Euros.
