Well I'm glad the tennis mavens cleared up the locations of the tournament versus the locations of the rink. (I care about two sports enough to know that kind of info. Guess which two:laugh: BTW, @MrsP, thanks for Michael Bennett ....sorry, couldn't resist, no one else will get that:biggrin:)

I must say I lean towards Tavi's thoughts. You know, if change is so wonderful -- and I *hate* change, so I wouldn't know -- then change, darn it. Go with a quad coach, and if Anthony Liu is a quad coach, go with him. Although the thought of taking a week or so every so often to skate with Karen and Sean just makes me :luv17: So if Tammy is open to co-coaching, Tammy and Anthony.

And darn it again, if you weren't going to Worlds, then let's spend 24/7 looking for the coach. Enough of this playing in the desert :devil:
 
I can't blame him for choosing to take SOME time away from that 24/7 coach shopping/ice rink touring to fan boy at Serena. As he correctly states, she's the GOAT! (Although I love her and my man Roger Federer equally.)

Also, I'd like to note that Serena's BFF is Caroline Wozniacki, who won her first Grand Slam title at the Australia Open the same day Jason won his 4CC bronze. So yeah, all roads and stuff like that.

As for Michael Bennett....well sigh. It looks like we're losing Richard Sherman too. :ohwell:

Okay, also he's been wearing that Team USA hat A LOOOOOTTT. Like I know he loves representing Team USA, but I can't help but wonder if perhaps there's a new hairdo he's hiding on social media until he's ready to make the big reveal, LOL. If you look at the series of photos he posted a few days ago, he's wearing the hat on the front in the portrait with his parents and then turns it around for the photos with his back facing the camera. Inquiring minds....

Or maybe he's just feeling extra patriotic. Or I'm just so bored and curious for concrete news I'm creating new theories.

Naw no green hair or bad haircut - yesterday we saw his hair in Sean’s Instagram story and we all said, wow it’s lighter, but he looks really good. And I pointed out that it was styled differently and looked like it might have been cut. I’m inclined to think 1) strong desert sun +habit (he wears those hats a lot); 2) Team USA loyalty despite declining Worlds; or 3) saving new haircut for big reveal.

I hope it’s #3, frankly - he’s been threatening (sweetly) to do it forever, and it would be a way of marking a big change in his life. :)

But we’ll see.
 
The end of SOI isn't until late May. That's a really long time to wear that Team USA hat. :laugh:

I realized something -- if he cuts his hair, is he still going to try to carry over Hamilton?!

He could wear a hair piece!

Actually, remembering what his hair looked like in the insta, if he has a cut kinda like this, Hamilton could still work. (Jason’s hair, even straightened, has more body than this guy’s, though.)

oooh, straightening. In Jason's case, maybe not a bad idea.

Although this cut reminds me of Stephane Lambiel.....and it will never happen, but my fantasy of Deniss V. and Jason training together under Stephane....:luv17:

And dancing through Champery, that place is gorgeous, would be something to see!

And I just saw that Dear Evan Hansen is on the lineup for the Paramont Theatre’s broadway season for 2018-2019! :party:

ETA: To make it relevant to this thread, LOL. After watching the "In the Room where it Happens," it's very obvious that the choreography for the step sequence was very much inspired by that of the ensemble choreography.

Watching the whole performance tickled my interest more in why Jason wanted to portray the Burr character rather than the Hamilton character. For some reason, I didn't realize that "Wait for It" was also sung by Burr. Burr is also a narrator of sorts, namely kind of in a biased way cause he's wondering how Hamilton -- who is kind of this eccentric, crazy, outspoken guy -- saw so much success. Meanwhile Burr is this kind of "plays the game" and tries to avoid controversy and only sees modest success.

^ Off topic, but I am fascinated with the diminutive of "Millie" from Emily. I know quite a few people named Emily and I never called any them Millie. But I just talked to my co-workers and it's actually pretty common.

Millie's shown up in quite a few of Jason's recent social posts, though yeah, still clear as mud on what that all means as far as a new coach or relocating! :laugh:
