I have been wondering that for years.

Re the new look: it’s cute! He looks like he’s taking in the huge changes in his life that are reflected in the new do.

What I find most interesting is that he’s gone from a look that said immediately “I’m different,” to a mainstream one that doesn’t give that automatic cue. It’ll be interesting to see what that means for him, and how it will be reflected in his his skating.

I liked Jason with the ponytail. I liked Jason with the manbun. I think he's very handsome with the short hair and if he's happy with the change, I'm happy for him.

I think it looks nice, it'll just take some getting used to. For us as well as him, I imagine!

That's true. Though that SP is not tame but considering the FS is DW, it probably will be more mainstream.
It might also be a general thing of entering a new phase in life/his skating. The next step so he decided to go for the whole "new me" look. In general he looks very happy and content in Toronto to me, knock on wood, so everything crossed we get a season where he ends up feeling good about his decisions.

I overall like the hair change, but I do think it will look a bit better if Jason grows the sides out a bit. I think it being so short makes his face look way too long.

Just rambling now, but it looks quite a bit darker - not sure if that’s product or just that they cut off sun bleached hair. Anyway, I am so interested to see how this looks on the ice; even more interested to see the new programs. Darn it Jason, show us a few clips!

I just saw this on Instagram and I don't know what to think, I loved Jason's ponytail! He does look cute though.

And also a lot like Luke on Modern Family to me
