Pretty sure that's Kurt Browning, Andi Petrillo, and Carol Lane (British accent).

Yeah, she told Kurt it looked like Jason was wearing one of his old shirts. I actually thought this commentary was ok. Kurt was very complimentary about Jason's skating and stressed how much his skills bring to skating. I think the comments about the quads at the end is just reality.

Thanks, @Arriba627. Carol really needs to zip it.

I also found a clip from TDP, but my Spanish is so minimal these days, I didn't get much. But we Jason fans have a lot of catching up to do. I saw a DailyMotion? YouTube? channel which had nothing but clips of Yuzu's LP in every language imaginable ... Estonian, Greek, Francophone and Anglophone Canadian, it was impressive.

Not that I would understand most of those either:laugh:

Oh, I agree it was mild, and reality, but they talked so much they almost missed the final split. I realize it's just the gala, but sheesh....

^^^El henry, I'd be glad to translate the Spanish clip if you can give me a link.

I agree there was too much talk. And if you do talk over a gala performance, then talk about the performance at hand. I think the talking during a gala performance should be minimal - after all, there are no points, or levels, or what-have-you to consider. A gala is just for fun.

Thanks @Arriba; I did think of you when I realized that I was understanding "simpatico" (which seems to come up in every Romance language commentary on Jason) and not much else:laugh: of course, finding it again is another matter....

Speaking of languages, did everyone see Jason's note to Mao, written entirely in Japanese? So sweet:luv17:

That was very sweet.

Also, did you see that Javier Munoz commented (with celebration hands) on Jason's IG post from last night? Maybe this Hamilton thing really is happening.

Here are some photos I took of of Jason at World's in Helsinki :-D

Jason's skating at World's was intricate, detailed, expressive and elegant - as usual. And he also makes such BIG, dramatic, three-dimensional movements and shapes in his choreography and transitions. Which all makes him a wonderful subject for photos...!

He is such a performer, and has such unique personality... you can't take your eyes off him, he makes you forget that he is wearing ice skates, executing technical elements in a figure skating competition. It becomes just him, and the story he is telling. There is literally, nobody else like him! His skating really stood out at World's.

He is such a nice guy too... I saw him in the arena concourse, cheerfully taking photos, signing autographs and chatting with a seemingly endless stream of fans. He is so friendly, charming, approachable and genuine.

thanks a lot as always for gorgeous photos YesWay:ghug:, lately I realized that Jason's big strenght that is so appealing to many viewers is his wise use of variety of expression - despite being still young skater, he's already achieved maturity, sophistication and elegance in his whole way of presentation on ice, which shines especially in lyrical programs, yet he's still very 'youthful' in expression: lively, energetic, 'driven' by skating, performing. And also I 'came to conclusion' recently that Jason is a rare example of exquisite, intelligent packaging which draws audiences to him despite not presenting yet stable quads - he may be not yet a litteral winner, but sure he is one of my winners in terms of presenting 'complete skating': alluring by commanding skill, uniqueness of his splits, flexibility, refined movement, lovely musicality, transcendental interpretation (taking into consideration so many factors, never being plain and litteral), confidence in performance and so open, courageous and positive expression on and off-ice: never a grimace about scores, never calculation, just pure passion about skating, thrill of being part of competition, never reducing all this only to winning and results. We really need more of such people in FS, because such figures strikes you with their complexity of great things embodied, things equally important and commanding attention like quads in Men or 3A in Ladies. I am set now to save as much as I can to go next year to Milan and hopefully see Jason and maybe tell him how much I value him as a skater, but even more as a person, how his skating brings out positivity and fight negativity.

These are just beautiful - thank you so much for sharing them! 🤗

They're all gorgeous, but I especially love this one:

^^^As always YesWay, beautiful photos. These really capture the essence of Jason. I especially love the practice photos that show both his ease and his intensity on the ice. I think I'm still on Cloud 9 thinking of how he really delivered under pressure. :hap10: Jason!

Thank you for the wonderful photos and for sharing your experience at Worlds. :)

Dick Button used to say of certain skaters that you could take a picture at any time in the program and it would be beautiful -- You have proven that to be true of Jason.

Kori is on Ice Talk this week with Nick McCarvel.

http://web.icenetwork.com/fans/icetalk

Kori shared that Jason is working with Rohene a new SP this week (no music was mentioned) and the plan is to have two quads in the SP.

 Two quads in the SP!!!!!!! I wonder what the LP content will be......

---------------------------------------------

USFS did a #FlashbackFriday of Max, Jason, & Josh in their suits getting ready for the World Syncho Champ medal ceremony. Well worth posting again.

That's a big leap, to go from 0 ratified landed quads in competition at all to 2 in the SP. And that would mean one of them has to be a different one to the 4T. 4S?

Still, Kori and Jason have never let us down yet. They must know that with Nathan and Vincent having the fed fawning all over them, Max being Max, and Joshua now returning potentially double-quad armed, the race for the Oly team just got really, really tight.

This is what surprises me - his practices were promising at Worlds, but he still hasn't landed one in the SP. So it's a huge leap to say he's gonna be doing two. It's a great goal, but how will he get there, and how soon? That's why I'm really curious to see what he shows at WTT. If he lands a rotated 4T in both programs there, programming two in the SP will see like less of a stretch.

And of course this begs the question of what they plan for the FS.

Two quads in the SP?:eek::drama::jaw::popcorn::cool::love:

I wonder what we're going to see at WTT? A landed quad? :p

How very interesting! If he can do it, he'll turn the skating world upside down. Can't wait to see. :hap36:

WTT is a great opportunity for Jason to try the two quads in the SP. For the upcoming season Jason will probably need to do 2 quads in
the SP to be competitive and to position himself so that his chances of podium finish are greatly improved. We all know what he can do
without the quad with it he will be a threat.
