It’s been 10 days, actually.
If we get dancing down Broadway, we had better get some news to go with it

Give all the GOEs to Jason for that jump!
So I’m at work and can’t turn up the sound. Per comments, what is it they were up to? I remember really liking it in Riverdance when Jason did a hydroblade into a 2A. This looks like a 3z - might be called ! though!![]()
Fun video, though. I'll watch as many of these as are posted. So I’m at work and can’t turn up the sound. Per comments, what is it they were up to? I remember really liking it in Riverdance when Jason did a hydroblade into a 2A. This looks like a 3z - might be called ! though!![]()
I turned up the volume as he/she said to do, and used my headphones, and still couldn't pick up what they were saying over the music.Fun video, though. I'll watch as many of these as are posted.

) but at least it was a mental block, and not a physical block. Many of the questions are focussing on pop music, but they transcribed Jason almost exactly with the "Oh my gosh" and exclamation points. "Sounds" just like him

Interview with Jason for "Windy City Times" in anticipation of Chicago SOI.

tweeted yesterday that he is looking forward to attending SOI in Chicago on Sunday. He's not really using the disappointment of not making the team as an excuse, is he?
Jason may never be able to articulate to everyone's satisfaction his reasons for declining Worlds. I don't think it was a spur of the moment decision or based on one event or result. The feeling I get is that he had reached his limit (emotionally, mentally, psychologically) and needed to step away from the sport for a time. The thought floated through my mind as well @Tavi that he might take a year off, but getting a new short program choreographed has given me hope that he will compete in the upcoming season.
This is how I feel. He may not even understand his feelings himself, much less be able express them to an interviewer. Yes, maybe he should have had an answer prepared about Worlds. Or maybe he did, and just became nervous when the question came up. Jason's often not the best communicator. Or it may be tied into switching coaches which may still be up in the air, and something he still isn't ready to talk about it. He appears to be an extremely private person who keeps anything but happy happy hidden away. It was obvious he was struggling with something. If it were an injury, I think he could talk about it, but I think what he's been going through is something deeply personal that he's still trying to work through, and may never be able to openly talk about.
