Jason Brown

Jason you are such a tease!

I’m talking about the IG story, of course ;) Palm trees? Marina? Normally my vote would be Florida, but I am East Coast centric. Could be SoCal, where we know he hangs, right?

If SoCal, smething to do with Grant's wedding perhaps? Maybe a bach party gathering?

Oh, I would looove for it to be Grant & Caroline, but you would think we might get hints from Tarah as well?

I was thinking more mundane, like Rohene “returning” to LA. I think I saw that Audrey Weisiger is at Toyota Center this upcoming week, but they tend to promote the heck out of Jason if he were there:think:

At this stage, I doubt it’s just more down time in the desert:)

I don’t think it’s the wedding but what Rosa said, a Bachelor gathering of some sort. But it could just be a weekend away.

Hi All. :) I lurk here from time to time, follow a few links, and enjoy. Thanks to everyone! As you may know, I'm a Jason uber since Oct 2013 when I saw this 18-year-old kid at SA and noticed his mature skating, his low-key joy in skating, and his incredible musical intelligence. (I miss that low-key bit, but that's me.)

ANYhoo, I just wanted to say about the discussion of Jason's hair. Couple weeks ago, there was an argument taking place in the comments on one of Jason's u-tube videos. One person said he has hair as frizzy and unmanageable as Jason's. He kept saying to the folks who want Jason to "grow up" and get short hair, something like "trust me ... as high-maintenance as the ponytail sounds, short hair is way more high-maintenance. The ponytail works to help contain it."

The best short-hair solution with that kind of hair is a buzz cut, maybe 1/4 to 1/2 inch long all over, or shave it like Michael Jordan. With Jason's features and happy wildness, I for one am not ready for that look! LOL. But I am biased in favor of long hair, so there you go. I wonder if the tiny ponytail is a new start, to get the whole ponytail consistent with itself. I'm not a fan of the shaved sides, so I'm hoping so. But again, that's me.

I have no problem with the pony tail or bun, but I'd love it if he could figure out a way not to slick everything back so severely. I really love his practice hair when it's not slicked and you can see the curl and loose wisps. Understandably, there's a need to keep it in place for competitions, but I wish there was another option. Not a fan of the shaved sides either. ;)

:agree:

My favorite Jason program hair is from Tristan and Isolde when it was half down. I'd like him to try something like that for another program. Speaking of, I'm more than ready for him to reveal his long program music.

I did a google search and found a wedding registry for Grant and Caroline with August 18th as the due date. That's a month away so it makes sense that Jason could be doing some wedding related activities while in California.

ETA:
Jason's on a boat with Grant and Danny O'Shea in his latest IG story. Pre-wedding activities seem to be confirmed. :)

That's my favorite hair as well. It looked a lot more natural.

Add me to the chorus of those who loved T&I hair. Not only did it look good and fit the music... it was the best frack you to everyone who ever said "lose the ponytail" ever. He he got rid of the pony without cutting his hair... totally awesome in my book.

I like the hair down lately. It looks great... but hair in your face/eyes can really suck so Jason may just be getting used to it.

Also Jason's latest Instagram story shows him with Grant and Danny O'Shea (who i have to confess I almost called "Tarah's Danny" before deciding to give him the dignity of his own name) on a boat... so maybe bachelor party?

They're on Catalina Island! Woo, explains the marina -- it's the ferry to Catalina.

That place is so cute and fun. I went there last year and it's so beautiful. They have limited permits for cars so you basically get around with golf carts. There's lots of things to do --like paddle boarding, biking, ziplining.

That building that's in the left side of Jason's photo is an old casino. It's art deco style. It's a super popular destination for architecture nerds and people who love Hollywood history. (It was a go-to spot for celebrities back in the day). https://www.visitcatalinaisland.com/activities-adventures/catalina-casino

There are Chicago ties too since the island's assets were basically bankrolled by the Wrigley family.

I am impressed by our crowdsourcing knowledge:

Guessing the bachelor party angle

Figuring out when the wedding is

And we are all agreed that T&I hair is the best hair:thumbsup:

Now, to be slightly superficial, does Danny know that Tarah has taken advantage of boys weekend out to go red? Hmmmm:scratch3:

It looks like onice perspectives may be filming at Champs Cemp in August and TCC in Sept!

And that beach club looks really nice!

More Catalina Island photos and a video of them in the golf cart!

So I realized something. If the wedding is August 18, then Danny and Jason will have to turn around and go to Champs Camp, which apparently starts the same day. But that’s nice for Jason, so he doesn’t have to fly from Canada twice. (Though he is flying plenty anyway.)

I sure hope Air Canada has a good frequent fliers’ program:laugh:

I also hope our boy has some strong sunscreen:agree:

It does! Air Canada is part of Star Alliance, which several airlines are part of, included United. He probably has so many miles by now.

He doesn’t fly as much as the Shibsibs though lol.

Actually, it doesn't. Air Canada is splitting up with Aeroplan, and after that you won't be able to redeem Aeroplan points on Star Alliance flights.

Also, Air Canada gives less points per mile flown than its partner United.

Altogether, it's best to take United points rather than Aeroplan on Air Canada flights and to book a combined flight (one leg operated by Air Canada, one leg operated by United, but both code-shared) through United rather and Air Canada, to get more points.

Probably that's what Jason does anyway, since he is probably a long-term member of United's frequent flyer plan and wants to pay in US dollars.

One of the best values in using frequent flyer points is in booking a flight where one leg is strictly A/C and one is strictly United. Those flights are very pricy if you pay in money, but can be had for 25,000 points, the standard rate.

That's good to know. It's been a little while since I flew Air Canada. I flew them from Vancouver to Seoul cause the rest of the folks in my group (it was a professional exchange with a group of Koreans) were Canadians from BC. I got Star Alliance then.

But given that he's flying from Toronto which is an AC hub iirc, his recent flights to Chicago and LA were likely direct I bet. Maybe he stopped in Chicago on his way to LA.

Anyway Jason posted some nice photos with Grant and Danny. Sounds like they had a great time!

And there is some ziplining in the IG story. They packed a lot in one weekend!
