First time posting in his fan fest, but I just needed to share how happy that free skate made me I'm still smiling, his reaction in the kiss and cry was everything!

I loved the audience clapping along during the Hazy Shade of Winter portion. It's obvious that he's connecting more with the program / audience and that was reflected by the higher PCS, even with lower tech content.

I'm glad he's doing Golden Spin and will have another opportunity to refine the program and work on stabilizing the tech content before nationals.

YYYYYYAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Over the moon for Jason!! The free is still a work in progress, but a big improvement from Skate Canada. His excitement to his free skate score and then joy at winning silver made me teary-eyed!

Hopefully this is a big confidence booster for Jason around what he is capable of as he continues striving to improve his technical content. He should be proud of the quality of his skating. I'm glad he's going to GS, it gives him another chance to put out the programs and hopefully go for tech. I get why he didn't try the quad here but it will be good to have another go at it at a less stressful competition.

The other thing I noticed is that Jason seemed obviously more comfortable with Brian and Tracy and vice versa here than in Canada.

I am thrilled for what this must do for Jason and his confidence. I will admit, I slept though the programs live (I don’t get up that early, even for Jason). And when I looked for results, I was so scared, please God, I know if someone lands more than one quad they can go past him, but please let him be on the podium
