Soooo do we like the costume? I'm undecided. I don't dislike it but can't decide if the detail really shows up on the ice. I think the short sleeves threw me off.

I really like the costume! Much better than last year’s bowling shirt. Let’s hope the FS costume is equally flattering.

What I really care about is that he’s able to get through his programs without problem. It hasn’t escaped me that (with one exception) he’s not doing spins in his run throughs. And hopefully, he will go clean in the SP, at least.

I still can't watch Jason live, so I'm going to skip the entire men's comp and work on dinner. Wishing him well and sending him lots of love!

My thoughts on Jason now the SP is completed:
1) Jason looks like he's about to hit up Berghain in Berlin and I'm really very here for it. This look is very much working for me.
2) This programme is amazing. His artistry, his edges, his expression is incredible. He has improved on last year, which I didn't think was possible.
3) The transitions out of that triple flip... ugh dreamy
4) So gutted about the 1a! He seemed disappointed with himself, though I'd take a pop over a fall any day. He lost about 8 points, which would have put him squarely in the mid 90s!
5) Considering he is post-concussion, only done run-throughs for 2 weeks and hasn't been spinning... his spins and speed were phenomenal!!

All round and all things considered I think that was an excellent skate for Jason. Previously he would have botched the combo after the axel from pressure, but the 3Lz-3T was clean as a whistle.

However, him scoring lower PCS than Nathan... Well I have many words and none of them are pleasant.

I don’t know how else to say it - I’ll just repeat what I said a couple of posts back - I LOOOOOOOOVVVVVVVEEEEEE Jason’s SP. Shame about the 1A, but it didn’t take away from the performance at all. Also, whatever he did over the summer really enhanced his physique! He looks so great in his costume (which I love, too).

Super looking forward to his FS.

Rohene has done it again

Well, my heart was in my throat. And as upset as I was at the pop:curse: I watched the remainder with less anxiety: no pressure, no expectations.

And please, if he can do this after only two weeks of full run throughs, just give Jason all the PCS and all the GOE.
He deserves it:yes:

I love that program. So much of it was really beautiful. I love the footwork! Hoping his confidence with the 3A returns quickly. I agree he looked disappointed.

I was there and despite the pop it was beautiful.
He mesmerized the whole audience with his incredible musicality, skating skills and spins. It was so enjoyable to watch. Another Rohene masterpiece. I cannot wait for SL tomorrow.

I still haven't watched but I loved peeking in here and seeing such nice comments. My fear was that he would fall out of spins or do something to indicate he wasn't feeling well, so I'm very happy that he he did as well as this. I'm sure it was frustrating for him because he's probably skated this perfectly, but that will come. After the past few weeks, I feel relieved.

It was absolutely gorgeous. Didn't even really notice the pop as an effect. Totally suckered me in. I'm still not sold on the song (too whiny) and I have fears about the costume that people will try and claim he's copying Rippon or other stupid stuff like that, but the choreography to the music is just so....
