I do not see Nathan going to worlds if he wins the Olympics. I think it will be a Japanese man myself. His costume certainly isn’t Olympic apparel. It does matter what you look like.I'm getting used to the unfairness and at least they did the right thing for the Olympics based on their own criteria. Vincent going to Worlds is the right choice based on placement, but not on the scoring.
If Jason does not go to Worlds, now I really don't see him retiring unless he gets a bronze individual medal at the Olympics or something. And I kinda would like him to retire for his own sake, even though, obviously, selfishly I don't.
But do you guys think Nathan will go to Worlds if he'll be Olympic champion?
In 2018 Adam Rippon was the one to withdraw, so there's still a chance, that is if they don't get cancelled.
I love the Gala program! This works in the US - it’s lovely, thank you!
BTW, apparently Jason's support group in the K&C were sports psychologists. One is Jason's and the other is USFS. They were there for him. He felt very supported. I was very happy to hear that.

It was a comment made by Jason that I read. I'll try to find it again. It might have been a post comp press question. But he said that he had both his own sports psychologist in the K&C and USFS sports psychologist also. I wondered who they were at the time.I’m curious- was this info in an article? I’d love to read it!
This is beautiful! This works in the US - it’s lovely, thank you!
Jason talked about his sports psychologist in the KnC in this Twitter thread:
So inspiring that he has been so open about his work with them.![]()
I love all the new details in schindler's list. I still think I prefer the OG version - I miss the spin that changed positions perfectly in time with the music. However the step sequence is GLORIOUS - if you watch the olympic channel version you can hear Ben literally gasp at one point! I also love the transition into his 3Lz-eu-3Sal with the spiral, it's gorgeous!
Eyes on the score block! Sigh....I was so worried about how he would do and if he’d make the team that I didn’t even look at the new choreography. Will have to watch again.
Yes - he is really growing with it. (And I loved Ben's gasp!)I love all the new details in schindler's list. Maybe Jason can stay in Nashville. I'm sure his friends Scott and Kori could find him some ice time.I don't know what Canada's rules are, but Tracy only needs to quarantine 5 days here. I suppose that if worse came to worse, they could both stay in Chicago and do the training there. US Figure Skating has a chartered plane for the Olympics. I don't know what Jason's travel plans will be. They could possibly travel with Team Canada if they go from Toronto. They'll figure it out. I believe that Team planes might be required for this Olympics to prevent exposure and transmission issues for the Athletes and probably coaches also.
I have often tried to imagine Jason skating to some of Yuzuru's programs. No later than yesterday with his exhibition program Change played by Monkey Magic, because I think Jason would like this music too and would be able to skate this program, with a very different rendering. Figure skating nurtures each skater's personality. But very very few other skaters could skate to it (Jason and Han yan for sure, who else?) Same for Sinnerman. And now that you've given the idea, I should very well like to see what the result would be with Yuzuru Hanyu. Certainly very different. At first I even thought it wasn't a program for him but I'm sure he would be able to give it a coherent meaning. Han Yan would be able to skate it too, but to convey a meaning? I know him too little to know. When they retire, I really want Yuzu or Nathan to rehearse and film themselves doing Sinnerman so that people might finally understand how difficult what Jason does is. I'm so tired of people who don't skate (or dance or do anything athletic at all) just throwing Jason's skills out as though they are ordinary and every single skater who can stand up can do what he does.

Hahaha - that would be funny. When they retire, I really want Yuzu or Nathan to rehearse and film themselves doing Sinnerman so that people might finally understand how difficult what Jason does is.
