Why not Tomas for your Liszt? No possibilty?

I think Spike Jones would be good for Kevin: :clap:

Spike Jones for Kevin.. :rofl::rofl::rofl:
Tomas for Liszt? Hmm, even for Hungarian, I cant quite see it. Katarina is totally fitting..
Tomas would be... well..offf its difficult if we're talking classical pianists. I'm sorry but I have to go with a violinist for Tomas, can't think of a pianist and that would be David Garrett. Fits him perfectly.

Like with Browning, it's also a question of personality, not only of ability and skill.
But it's a possibility. I would love to see it, but Tomas isn't very much into the classical stuff, I think. Same goes for Brian, he wouldn't skate to classical music.

That's hilarious... and they are actually virtuosos.

Hmmm - could you send me a link to a performance of the version of this Liszt music so I can get a bettter idea?

and somewhere in the back of memory is an image of Scott Hamilton skating to Spike Jones. If mathman stumble across this maybe he could confirm with a link

I don't think many of today's skaters are ....good enough for such a piece. I see Yagudin with a Tat choreo bringing this too life.

I agree Janetfan! But, would the number of today's skaters who could do this piece increase if they were not going to be scored under COP? Are the demands of satisfying the COP final number so great that the construct of the program suffers or is it that the current crop of skaters are unable to construct any program that would do this piece justice. I certainly don't know, but when I envision skaters who can create awe inspiring programs, my mind goes to skaters that didn't have to bother with point accumulation, but could focus on the whole of the program.

Regardless, FABULOUS piece!

to me instead of critizing jobuerts-she should have naild daisuke takashi goes and pcs scores-for what he did.

Haha, the only thing I found hilarious about Joubert's programs this season is the "pelvic thrust" he does at the beginning. He even does the motion with his arms like he's cranking up an engine or something. Oh goodness gracious. I found it hard to watch actually.
OMG LOL How did I miss this comment? :rofl:
