Alas! I just released I can't tweet about it because he follows me, and on the off chance he's reading his Twitter, I don't want to spoil the surprise.
I saw Patrick reblogged your post though, and loves the idea.
Now, about time. IIRC, the men's FS was early evening my time here - which means it would be at a terrible hour for you guys (if my rough maths is approximate). So, it may well be that we will have to come up with another time.
Another thing to consider: We have no idea how well he is doing - although from his last update on his birthday he said he is continuing to get better. I know last summer/fall USFS or maybe Christy Krall said that a full recovery was expected, although that was months ago. Even Papadakis, who won Europeans in ice dance with Cizeron this weekend, was mentioned in an article to still be dealing with headaches. I'm assuming the decision was made to make sure Josh is 100.000000000% healed before even returning to the ice. Hopefully, he is somewhere in the later stages, but we don't know.
I bring this up because Josh may still be limited in how much TV, computer, & phone screen time he can handle in a day. It may because either cause his brain still can't handle itno
or it's bad for his progress in whatever therapy or rest he is doing. He may not see all of this campaign or any of it at all.
Re: timing- since we're all so spread out, should we not even bother with trying to synchronize it? If we just scatter it throughout the day, it may be less likely to trigger a trending algorithm but it would be a consistent flow of positive tweets. IIRC, the men's FS last year was around 2 AM for me (Mountain Time in the US), so... yeah.
Also, as far as Josh actually noticing it, I'm told someone may have a way to ensure he does, but I don't know anything else on that score. I'm fairly certain someone would pick up on it- I did notify TSL on social media PM in the hopes they'd retweet stuff or cover the trend as a "news" story.

I spoke to some coaches, and to his coach Damon during Nationals, and I learned that: the first month of his injury he was locked in a dark room with his head spinning. He is doing much better. He was actually coaching all the skaters of Damon's team during Nationasl back in Colorado Springs. Damon looked surprise that I was even questioning his return on ice. He sounded very positive and very optimistic!

(Also the concept of coach Joshua is adorable.)

This is good news! I'm glad that Josh can at least make some money right now - I wonder if he will lose this Team "B" funding from USFS next season. I am less worried about Jason because he at least competed some this season and it seems that he could perform in some shows this summer.
Not to mention what it must look like to see him coach a lesson with Lukas.![]()

Musicfan80, Damon is a personal friend.

Unfortunately, I think that he will. Pretty sure you have to have a decent result at Nationals and be an active member of Team USA to get it and right now he's neither. But fortunately, he's still Joshua, so I'm sure there'll be plenty of shows knocking on his door. ...

If I understand the rules correctly:
Next season Josh will receive Team C funding, b/c he had earned Team B funding for this season.
I do think it's reasonable to hope that Josh will have show opportunities, if he wants them.

Good challenge for him, since Lukas is a clocky!
What is a "clocky"? I believe Latvia has two spots for Europeans next year, correct? I would love to see Lukas be able to compete there.
We still have two weeks to figure out the best way to do this on our end. Another thing we can use is Buffer - you set up a tweet (or tweets) and it will tweet for you at a certain time you tell it to: https://buffer.com/.

I say we choose a 2-3 hour window - when would people here think there is an ideal time of the day to do it?
Hmm. What about early morning my time on the 13th? That makes it the actual 13th, afternoon/evening on the 12th in the US (I think) and late evening in Europe (I think). Let me do some conversions and figure this out.
Okay. So I was originally thinking 11am my time, and the World Clock tells me that is 5pm on the 12th Colorado time, 9am Japan time (I figured he's got some Japanese fans out there), but midnight between the 12th and 13th London time. So, perhaps, if we made it 9am my time, that would be 3pm Colorado time, 7am Japan time, but 10pm London time on the 12th.
Or would we rather arrange it so that the tweets are on the 13th in his time zone?
For the record I checked the dates: last year's men's free skate was on Feb 13 ....
I'd say let's try to do it so it's on the 13th his time zone (which, incidentally, is also mine) so that it's crystal clear that we're doing it on the anniversary date. ...
What do you all think?
Caveat, if anyone cares:
Feb 14 -- not Feb 13 -- was the date of the Men's FS at 2015 Four Continents: The start time in Korea on Feb 14 was 17:30, and fans in the U.S. watched it live in the early morning hours of Feb 14 as well.

Don't know where Feb 13 came from??
