Jr. Worlds vs. GP vs. JGP

Can somebody sum up the relationship between the rankings of Jr. Worlds and the GP/JGP slots for the upcoming season?

Just some random examples. If a skater or a pair medals at Jr. worlds, does this guarantee a GP invitation for this Jr. single or pair skaters?

Do a country's JGP eligible slots in one discipline base on its skaters' prior year's performances at Jr. worlds?

Medallists at junior Worlds are guaranteed at least one spot on the senior grand prix next season. In practice however these skaters will get 2 SGP spots.

However except for pairs , skaters who opt to do SGP next season can't do JGP next season. Pairs are allowed to do both events in the same season.

Do a country's JGP eligible slots in one discipline base on its skaters' prior year's performances at Jr. worlds?

In pairs , placings only determine the number of pairs one can send to JW. Because there are so few pairs all countries can send 3 pairs to each JGP event ( unlimited if you are the country hosting the event)

In other disciplines , JW results do determine the number of JGP slots for a country. In singles and dance the 5 highest finishing countries get 16 JGP slots ( 2 per JGP event ) next season. In dance all other countries can send 1 couple per event. In singles countries 6 -10 ( in highest placement at JW ) can send 8 total entries between all the events, countries 11- 15 can send 7 total entries and so on down to 5 entries for those countries whose entries fail to make it to the free skate at JW.

In dance and singles the hosting nation can send 3 entries per event in the JGP event they are hosting.

Caroline and Ashley both got two spots because they medaled at Junior worlds and JGPF.

Not necessarily. Megan Oster won a medal at the JGPF but didn't go to JW, and she got two assignments, and Kevin Reynolds won a JGPF medal but finished 4th at JW, and he got two assignments as well.

Skaters in the top 24 on the ISU Ranking list are guaranteed one spot and Skaters in the top 24 on the SB list are also guaranteed one spot. There is some overlap, as many in the top 24 on the ISU list are also top 24 on the SB list. But even those on one list but not the other got two assignments last season.
