I thought of you! I'm sitting here waiting for my heart to come down from my throat and trying to keep from yelling for joy for him.

We none of us really thought it could come to this, did we? But he has done wonders this year!

So damn proud of him. After all he's been through last season, and the national pressure- good luck at rankings(ugh why is this comp a thing).
HE'S THE YOUNGEST GPF MEN'S MEDALIST SINCE PLUSHY, LOL.
 
Ah, I'm so happy he's won a medal. He just improves every time he steps on the ice. This has been a bronze season so far, but that only means lots of silver and gold to come.

And just a quick question, I've only been a member here for a short time but I can't find anyway to load an avatar. The FAQ seems to point to options that aren't there. Can anyone tell me what I'm missing? Thanks.
 
This is the first medal ceremony where Junhwan is more smiley than keeping calm, it just melts my heart

Ah thanks, that solves the mystery. I'm not a great commentor because I don't feel like I know enough about anything to have a comment beyons 'Yay! Jun'. Thanks for replying.

So, he skated in the purple costume? I like it better than the white one
 
I felt so trolled when he came out in the purple, but it's probably more comfortable for him. And a big AHHHHH I AM SO PROUD OF HIM!!!! Almost every element got a +1 or above GOE.
 
His EX at SC was the Shawn Mendez song, then at Helsinki it was What a wonderful world, so wondering what his EX here will be. I am hoping for PBJ just because I love it so much lol.

Summary:
- He's very happy that he won a medal at his first finals
- He was mad at himself for making a mistake on the first jump (more so because he was in good condition in practice) but concentrated on performing the rest of the program
- He wanted to enjoy the free (interviewer says he said that after the short) but couldn't help being nervous, he still tried his best
- On being the first breakout male skater for Korea: He does feel the pressure, but he wants to think the pressure as a reason why he should work harder (maturely stated, says the interviewer)
- Goal for this season is not getting injured, wants to improve every year

One of the audience threw that Soohorang! I wanted that white shirt to make its appearance, but since the Soohorang was in a purple shirt it was all for the best :laugh:

I would love for purple costume Soohorang to become his mascot. Looking at the way Jun Hwan prominently display it on the sofa of the waiting area.
