Congratulations to Jun Hwan! I look forward to seeing him at the Olympics. I saw him for the first time this season on the GP circuit, and while I'm not 100 percent on the fan bandwagon yet, I really liked his skating. Looking forward to seeing him develop artistically. Hope he remains healthy!

No way! IMO, if you have it, flaunt it with pride. And JunHwan has luxurious hair, like most Asians. :]
 
Hoping that his sponsors will pressure him into cutting his hair once he starts doing CFs. Not a good look. :palmf:
 
wow, he really did it!!! his mental strength is amazing even though he is so young, so happy for him, Brian was bowing to him at K&C which was great to see :laugh: and even though i am jealous of his super healthy looking hair:luv17: its just too long and doesnt look comfortable at all :slink:

i guess his Disco EX wasnt shared yet :dance3:

When did our baby Cha get so tall!?! Congratulations Junhwan! I’m sorry I doubted you this season. I’m happy you proved me wrong and you more than earned your place at your home Olympics.

Also, I seem to be in the minority but I LIKE his hair. I love the way it moves when he skates as if it were an extension of him. I hope he doesn’t cut it.

i was laughing as well, Brian must have pick that up from Javi & Yuzu, and Jun look so clam when Brain do that, he must be still very nervous and don’t know how to react.
 
I heard that Junhwan is skipping 4CC. Hope that he'll rest as much as possible before the Olympics.

That’s totally understandable, now that he is going to Oly, and being the only skater for men’s discipline, he will have to skate both short and free in the team event? (Correct me if I am wrong)

Yes, but it's sadly unlikely Korea will make it to the free portion of the team event given their weakness in the non-single disciplines :ohwell:
 
I think it's crazy for South Korea to consider sending anyone other than Cha to the Olympics.
They force their skaters to go through so many competitions this year for the Olympics spots, not giving them any time to recover from previous injuries and risking worsening their injuries.
 
KSU dodged criticism on favoritism or just sending "whoever they feel like" with their numbers game system, but the 3 domestic competition thing was even worse.:noshake:

I'm happy he seems healthier and that he's going to the Olympics! I seriously couldn't believe it and was so depressed for him for the past couple months. He has such nerves of steel. Just one mistake and he wouldn't make it, yet he did it.:eeking:

Please cut the hair though. I saw somewhere that he didn't like it when he got it got in Canada but now that he's in Korea, he better cut it. I don't see how he can see.:unsure:
 
His hair is making me so frustrated and I feel so petty thinking about it. For the love of neatness, just get a haircut like the other korean guys. Please be successful so your endorsements make you cut your hair for commercials.
 
It looks styled more than anything else.:laugh: I want those hairs on his side CUT! Snip, snip.

At first his long hair didn't bother me much, but now it's really distracting. Even in the photos above, the hair's supposed to look more fancy and tidied, but it's still awkward. Hopefully he'll get it cut in time for the Olympics (which probably won't happen :laugh2:)
