I find he has such a unique quality... I can’t exactly explain.
I don’t know if it’s always been like this but his programs bring a different energy. A mix of... confidence, flair, a tiny bit of comical quality, some drama, some ingenuity... It’s really something! And I love it!
I hope he does well this season!

I just watch his SP and I really like it. He matured a lot and a SB

PCS are mostly reputation so he should build them this season.

As long as he's consistent, his PCS should rise steadily throughout the season. I personally would've score him somewhere between 40-42 because that performance had everything. I don't remember him being this confident last season :luv17:.

last season was...yeah I sometimes have nightmares about it. I pray to not have a season like that one. Im glad he is feeling confident, now lets go for a strong FS tooarty:

Wonderful outing today! He looked very comfortable, feeling the music really well and his body is very relaxed. I think the somewhat quirky(?) choreography parts suit him well too! The quad was very smooth.

I only wish he is not in all black...

I loved everything about the SP. His jumps, his spins (especially the layback in the final spin), the Ina Bauer and the StSq had some really interesting moments (1:57).

And I actually like the costume, it really fits him.

SO so so impressed with Jun-Hwan’s SP, almost as much as I’m unimpressed by his FS. Such body awareness and musicality! Love how they were able to incopetate modern elements into an otherwise classical program.

I've rewatched Jun's short program approximately seven times today. I think it's really good. I find the costume a little uninspired, but that's overshadowed by just how much I love his skating. His skating skills are just so good, and he has such musicality -- it makes the whole performance so dynamic and enjoyable to watch. And I'm impressed with the 3lz-3lo combo, besides the slight inside edge on the lutz he's actually pretty good technically. His 3a is improving too, he doesn't spend as long of time before actually jumping anymore.

I didn't follow Jun before but techno romance and JUUULIEEET made me a fan. Thank you Jun for being the best Romeo AND Juliet in the season full of R&J programs

I'd like to say he "wuzobbed", but I really can't with that mess of music, so...lol. Congrats on his first senior medal and PBs across the board anyways!
