That would be a fitting reward for his efforts and steady improvement this season. He's on a roll. And he's such an inspiration for all the other underdogs, not just in Japan. ^ ^OMG you were there! So jealous! Thank you for the report, and yes, let's hope the crowd enjoys La La Land tomorrow! So glad I was there to see it! He was stunning! Love the part where the music gets a little more dramatic and he really sells it. This crowd seems to like to clap, I have a feeling we'll all be clapping along raucously during La La Land!!! Best of luck to him tomorrow.

Oh i will, thank you. I'm at the ladies free right now and am practicing my screaming for tomorrow's competition.Lucky younow I can’t wait for your report tomorrow!
Enjoy the free skate!
Thank you for sharing this! Hope you have a wonderful time watching the Men's free.I went to see Mens practice only the final 2 groups. Most men including Kazuki looked good and focused (unlike ladies this time). Once again I found Kazuki’s run-through captivating even without jumps.
Hope we’ll have another fabulous competition and of course good luck Kazuki!!

I believe in this case was more psychological rather than physical - it's just his second time competing at worlds, and the first being that close to the top and with a realistic change to medal, plus the pressure to deliver a Japanese podium sweep (thanks, journalist that brought that up in the SP press conferenceKazuki probably paid the price for participating in two competitions one after another
This was effectively the same issue he had earlier in the season at Rostelecom and 4CC: the skill is there, but he still lacks competitive experience as a top skater. It's easy to forget that, growing up, he never thought he would be competing internationally, let alone winning medals.
There's a really good point, I hope JSF consider thisHe's in good company though - Riku/Ryuichi and Kana/Daisuke didn't manage to deliver perfect programs either, especially RikuRyu sort of folded when the medal opportunity presented itself. I think it's not easy to be a World/OG medal favorite...
