Kazuki Tomono

Kazuki's sauna article is a bit too technical for me, but the pictures are so nice! He really seems to be in his element at saunas 😄

I forgot to mention here, but he has a new picture on JSF's page, wearing his new sponsor's jacket!

Haha Kazuki is way too modest for that! He would probably say you are exaggerating and being too kind 😄

I think barring any tragedy, Kazuki will be skating by then, he said he will try to compete in the next Olympics in 2026, so he will probably still be skating in the Olympic season. After that, I don't know 😶‍🌫️

In one of the interviews he had said if he had 2 bad..my word..seasons he would quit..Good thoughts for him.

This shows that such panels and rules - as good the intention may be - can not be correct everytime. If they just keep that in mind.. it's okay. Talent and hard work will eventually "win".

Thanks! I'm glad that he's talking about his junior experience as I think a lot of people don't know about it, especially as many fans started following him just last season. The truth is Kazuki has experienced many difficulties in his career so far, battling with inconsistency and poor treatment from the fed. He was never considered a 'talent'. His grit and determination are simply incredible.

That's the article about his talk with the baseball player, it's a paid article too but it seems it was a really fun talk! Quite touching that he mentions seeing Hiyama-san on a parade as a child, and he was taken there by his grandmother. I bet Kazuki was really happy to have met one of his childhood heroes!
