Well guys, what can I say... This was early-season Kazuki at his finest: rough, chaotic but also gutsy
I was particularly impressed by the fact that he improvised his FS layout after missing the 3A combo, switching the 3F2T to second to last jumping pass and doing the 3Aeu2S combo as the last jump! Most skaters would agree that doing a 3A as the last jump is risky, let alone a 3A combo, and he did it on the fly with positive GOE
So I'm not worried at this point. He got the chance to debut his challenging new programmes internationally, hopefully shaking up some of those nerves. He missed the podium, but as he finished in 4th place he got some ISU points and was invited to the Exhibition! Let's see if he'll perform 'What's my name'!
