Kazuki Tomono

I wonder if the hearty portion of ramen is Kazuki's breakfast, lunch or dinner? :] Looking forward to the photos he'll hopefully be posting from France. What kind of food will he choose there? I've been noticing a few Japanese gymnasts posting short videos eating British food before the upcoming gymnastics WC, and maybe Kazuki and his buddies will do likewise in France :]

Anyway tonkatsu ramen is very healthy for athletes, because the broth is made with pork bones, containing lots of collagen that helps rebuilding/maintaining bones.
I'd have liked so much to be able to applaud him in Angers! But while on Thursday the probability looked above 50%, now it's near 0.

I suspect it is lunch or dinner..In an interview Kazuki said that he basically eats the same breakfast every day. Fried eggs and bacon..and IIRC..rice.. Bacon not the type we have here in US..In various interviews he has said that he is adaptable when he travels re: food..but also that he packs some rice to eat w curry..from memory..

Glad he's relaxing before his competition next week. That ramen looked delicious 🤤

As a ramen connoisseur I must say that tonkatsu ramen tastes amazing. You can taste the pork flavor in the broth and it warms you up. The egg I think is the best part because it is so soft, warm, and kinda melts in your mouth. The yolk is smooth and creamy. 10/10 ramen for sure and my #1 favorite. Kazuki has excellent taste :) If I ever ran into him in Osaka, I would like to treat him to a bowl of ramen and have an in depth conversation about ramen.

I wonder what Japan bacon tastes like?

Kazuki is scheduled to participate in another ice show 6-8 January: https://www.ice-explosion.com
What a busy schedule he'll have just after Nats!

Also, Kazuki appeared on a TV show and interview with actress Fuka Koshiba, who is also from Sakai and used to be a figure skater. She trained with Hiraike-sensei and Kazuki back in childhood!

I found this so cute because Kazuki and Hiraike-sensei are clearly very proud of her. It seems Kazuki even said he wants to co-star something on TV with her someday 😆
