Kiira Korpi

Another snippet in Ilta-Sanomat print version today. Kiira is currently in Germany preparing for Golden Spin.

It seems she has been training in Oberstdorf

After so many recent retirements, there are few left now who can skate with her kind of lightness, grace and elegance... so I hpe everything goes well, and she competes successfully at Golden Spin of Zagreb - and beyond!

Really pleased she is competing again at last.

I hope she does well, but really at this point... I just want her to stay fit, and ease back into competition slowly. Build up gradually - nationals... europeans... worlds...

Good luck to Kiira at Golden Spin! Competition starts soon...!

56.22 for her short program!

I think that's an outstanding achievement considering how long she's been out of competition.
Well done Kiira! :-D

I don't care where she finishes, I just hope she can do well in the free skate.

One of the rare skaters that I could watch all days and she doesn't have to jump at all. I love the Russian girls but seriously if they don't jump and do the big trick it will never be as elegant as this.
