I second that Brian should have slowed down, and have been more careful with the media. It was playing with fire on his part. Also, it is so sad that it was he, and no other person, who single handedly did so much damage on Yuna's career. His action speaks louder than his words of love toward Yuna.

This was Yuna and her management teams decision to move on. They should move already.
I was wondering about the previous posters's comments - "his actions speak louder than words."
I think that in this case the actions of Yuna's team speak much louder than Orser's words.
I also think they will get past this, even f it has been handled poorly by ATS. What is interesting is that some are complaining that Brian is hurting Yuna. I don't necessarily see it that way. They have to remember Brian is responsible for training and protecting skaters like Adam and Christina now. He is no longer in charge of Yuna's training and his responsibilty is to others.

Oh, they have, haven't they? They thought after Aug.2 meeting with Brian, they've moved on.

There is " Her(mao) agency did inquire about me(and team) working with her,I told them"
I wonder who will be Yuna's coach after this?
I seriously doubt any Canadian coach will now take her on.
I kind of think that no American would be happy to relate to her.
I don't see any Russian coach saying yes.
Likewise with Japanese, though I suppose Team Yuna would not even go there in the first place.
I'm inclined to think that she'd be cold-shouldered by Europe.
So that leaves seeking out coaches in the continents of South America or Africa, or countries like India, Australia, China, Korea, as well as Middle Eastern countries.
Maybe a Chinese coach is the most realistic? But that's so unrealistic, actually!
So basically, as things stand now, she's not likely to find anyone to replace Brian Orser. She may be able to go one season without a coach, but not much longer! So that means her amateur career is basically over, and without her amateur career, she won't remain bankable for too long. Without Yuna Kim, how will Korean figure skating federation increase their clout?
If I were ATS, I would issue the most sincerest apology possible post haste and hope for mercy!
She still has two Canadians choreographing for her ( Wilson and Bourne ) and there is a lot of money connected with YuNa so she should be able to find another coach.
Whether it's the kind of coach she needs to thrive is anyone's guess but for the right price she shouldn't have trouble finding someone to coach her.
This time around I guess Hersh is safe.
