BTW, thank you as usual for all the updates! I see Kazuki has upheld his tradition of skating rough at Kinki but I'm impressed he seems to have managed to recover after missing the quads (judging by the protocol).

Poor kid~that dislocated shoulder is becoming a chronic issue for him
Hope he can do the minimum required in the FS to qualify for Sectionals without further injuring himself

Seeing Kazuki's Nebelhorn performances made me think he has new blades
Even here, his 4T looked fine in the air but then he slipped off his blade after landing
I'm happy to see that he's not popping as often (iirc he didn't do it even once at Nebelhorn)
Anyway, 2 fun new programs and I'm sure he'll adjust as the season progresses
Good thing he has a later GP events~
I'm working on video of his SP right now
Hope to have it up soon~

Apparently, it was Mai Mihara who suggested to Haru that he jump the 4T first in his FS rather than third as he's been doing so far this season
(thank you, sensible Mai~)
Haru said he was expecting to fail the 4T so was shocked when he actually landed it
And although he's happy about the 4T, he was disappointed to not have enough stamina for his spins

Sadly, all Regional and Sectional competitions are being held without an audience...again
However, since Haru was the last to skate, everyone left in the rink was watching
After the successful 4T, you can hear and feel the excitement grow with each jump he lands
Everyone was cheering and encouraging him on, especially during his ChSq and spins
I wish there had been an audience to give both Shuntaro and Haru's performances standing ovations

Yes. I remember watching Ayumi’s beautiful jump free skate layout in a domestic competition, and then was shocked by the low scores…. She is a beautiful under rated skater with interesting spins and she executes jumps not regularly preformed by others. Why is her score so low? I can’t wait to watch Mai
