L-O-N-G SHOT - Costume Question -NNN

I have this mental picture of Naomi Nari Nam in a dark/forest green costume, with her hair in side french braids, from one of her early senior seasons. Anybody remember this? Any pix? I did do a little searching on the internet, but didn't find anything.

And it's always possible I'm thinking of another skater, a sad comment on my memory!

you coudl be right.. there just isn't that much out there on Naomi's previous career. Maybe it was at an exebition...or cheesefest. I am sure that she would have looked absoultley adorable... as usual.

I was hoping you might have some thoughts, Mavy. I know I'm reaching back into the past a bit! Back when she first came to media att'n as the next big thing ---

I was so hoping she'd do better this year! I admire how she's really stuck with skating for so long despite her injuries, etc.

yeah, was that it? The video quality makes it tough to see if she is wearing her hair in braids or not, but this could be it!

Yes, yes, yes, that's it! Though either I remembered the hair wrong or I did see her in that dress w/ a different hair style. I should've clarified, what I'm picturing, tho, isn't dangling braids but braided along the sides of her head and tucked up -- but I could still be wrong, but this is the dress I was remembering.

I still remember all the excitement and hopes for Naomi, and admire her for continuing to skate.
