Looks like another strong skate from Ashley who goes into the lead!

If only Phaneuf could get the difficult triples back, she is such a gorgeous, musical skater. At 5'9" it must be so hard though. I appreciated that she didn't back off of them, even if it did lead to falls.

Ok, I got here in the middle of Joannie's performance, but from what I saw she did pretty well. She singled out of a 3S and a 2A, but otherwise a good performance.

She looked so confident in her home court. I hope she will get at least get a silver. I can't stand Emily. Nakano's leg wrap also drives me nuts!

Good skate for her. You're right, this is one of the better performances she's had in a long time. Only problems were a couple of things left out. I think not having the 3-3 sequence will hurt her here if other skate really well. But all in all, a great effort.
