I can never understand why Bebe has so many fans. She is a disastrous skater, has NEVER skated a clean long program.

It's a complete waste to send her to the worlds.... Her posture is horrific.

6th overall with 144.25. American prognosis for 3 spots is dim. But wow, Bebe actually got the highest PCS so far.

But wow, Bebe actually got the highest PCS so far.

I love Bebe's basic skating. She has a very refined quality and holds and finishes her moves very well. Plus, she is so musical! Totally deserving of high PCS, IMO.

The crowd loves her. I think this is on par with Cup of China, which is still very good. Nice performance after a disappointing Nationals.

except for the last 3-3 attempt and a tiny stepout of the last 2-axel, joannie skated great! she has really motivated herself this season. she looks leaner, and her jumps are much more secure.

maybe she should move the 3-3 earlier into her program when she has more energy for it.

korean crowd loves her. cracks me up how the skaters learned how to do the korean "heart" sign. hahaha.

And of course, Joannie sails into 1st overall with 179.54. PB in long (by a hair) and a significant PB for overall. This is the first time in forever that she's done two strong programs at one competition...great job.

mao looks happy. she skated a good program... a little shaky on the lutz landing, and her 2-axel on the 2-2-2 combo looked two-footed. step sequence looked not in tune with the music. but objectively good performance overall.

A big, big score, but I think one of the combos was downgraded because this score is similar to GPF where she got tons of negative GOE.
