That's a really nice choice, but maybe I would have preferred something more upbeat for the second half: the fairy-dreamy atmosphere is good, but it may make her seem too girlish. Anyway, I look forward to seeing it in a full-sized rink in competition!

No wonder Mai's cheeks are sooo red, before I thought it is a special Japanese style make-up. Hope the allergy situation can resolve soon.
Nonetheless, Mai's red cheeks are pretty like a Geisha.

I understand where some may find Mai 'too quiet' a skater in general but there something about Mai that makes me happy whenever I watch her. She has a very smooth glide on the ice and also a very gritty competitive spirit that contrast each other.
Though it's an absolutely lovely dress, I think her SP dress could use a change of color. Something cream and gold? -For that old Hollywood style that would match the music.

great opening to the season, well done Mai!! shame about 2S (she popped it last season at SCAC too ) but she looks ready as usual i feel like her spins were faster, also she had more transitions last season but hopefully she will add them as season goes on, and PCS will increase too
