Maiia was great today! I really like her short program and how she performs it! Can't wait to see her FP tomorrow! Here's a bunch of photos I took of her in the rink! (Not the best quality tho, 'cause the lighting was terrible and my camera isn't the best either, but I hope you'll like them! I'm gonna post some better quality photos taken by my friend who has a professional camera.)

There were many talks about scoring in Budapest compared to scoring in Finland. Yes, for thresame skate both Maiia and Anna would've received around +5 points in Finland I think.

Congrats! Her skating is really evolving!

Maiia was really impressive today - that quad toe -triple toe was amazing. She also seems to commit to her choreo and performance much more this season. And she even won with an invalid jump.

(I still think a 15 year old should not be skating to lyrics about selling her body to the night, but hey, that's Dani G. He could easily have chosen the instrumental version of Tango De Roxanne - it was used for years before lyrics were allowed.)

Congratulations Maiia ! I decided to watch the programs when I woke up so I had no idea she'd won until I got to the end of Anna S's video.

Call me loco , but I really love the first half of the program, the music really suits Maiia.

He could easily have chosen the instrumental version of Tango De Roxanne - it was used for years before lyrics were allowed.)

I actually really enjoy the Ewan McGregor version, but this one... I wonder if the singer is big in Russia because that's the only reason I can think of for it to be used

Having said that Maiia really sells the second half of the program too so I also enjoy it.
