To be honest, it looked like every single one of those 2A were at least 1/4 pre-rotated, even Yuna's. Go look at Evan Lysacek's 3A and Caroline Zhang's 2A and then we'll talk about pre-rotated axel jumps.
Joanni's axel is hard to see (too far in the video). But, the difference between Mao's and Yuna's is clear. YuNa takes off (both edge and toe) within 1/4 turn, while Mao's toe takes off at 1/2 turn.

There seems to be a regular cottage industry in churning out these Mao and Yu-na videos. The girls should charge appearance fees -- they would make a fortune!
