In his defense the other two people seem to be wearing the same horrible jacket... and untucked shirts as well.
:agree: Yes, Max and other celebrity waiters wore the jackets with tails at last year's fundraiser too.
I assume that Make-A-Wish Colorado rents all the jackets every year for the waiters to wear ... with jeans and other street clothes. (Instead of paying more to outfit each waiter in head-to-toe formal wear.)
At last year's event, Max did tuck his shirt in.
Untucked shirts are seen on even more of this year's waiters in a photo of the entire group. (Some tucked-in shirts are seen as well.)
Maybe someone from Make-A-Wish made a suggestion this year to leave shirts untucked?? Perhaps thinking that they are a lesser evil than the weird look of belts with the jackets?
Anyway, I think Max is in the back row at the very right.
And it is very nice that Make-A-Wish invited him back this year

, and that he was excited to support the cause again

.
Meanwhile, I will admit to being surprised that Max's Nessun Dorma costume is in a "best-dressed" collage from MK Blades (promoting its own skaters, of course).
Black Swan is his better costume this season, IMO.
(The link in the tweet to the full MK Blades blog entry does not work for me.)
Throwing back to a collage in honor of Max's birthday, posted by Broadmoor Skating Club.
