Yeah Hanyu's thread is only 850 pages with 1.8million views :rolleye:.

JSF provided two bodyguards for Yuzuru during NHK trophy while he was recovering from his injuries. Presumably to protect him from media frenzy and fans.

New York Times published 6 articles about Hanyu this year, more than the women's OG medalist

And not everyone thinks he's the best thing ever. Which is okay, too.


I still think the issue that somehow male figure skaters aren't tough needs to be addressed.

As an Asian I have to say I see no beauty in the kind of someone like Thor (the actor).
We have martial arts here and some folks who are quite thin, but they are very strong, tough and can even beat opponents who are three or four times bigger tham them.
I don't believe in more brawn more strength. Of course brawn is nothing bad. Still being big doesn't always mean you are strong.
