Will the exhibition gala be shown on TV? ABC used to have a 2-hr. broadcast of that as well. Oh well, I hope they find some way to show it, even if it's on Ice network.

Joesitz- of course NBC is not going to show EVERYONE. But they should show the last 8-10 skaters in each discipline. I really hope they do find time to show at least the top 3 SPs (for the ladies, anyway).

RD - I agree, and I am hoping for the last two groups to skater which equals 12.

I doubt they will show SPs after the LPs have been concluded. It'll only confuse the general public. Hope I'm wrong.

No, not AFTER the freeskates- that would be anticlimactic. They could do it during an ice resurfacing break...during the primetime telecast, isn't there going to be a 15 or so minute break between the conclusion of the free dance and the ladies' FS? If they limited commercials they could squeeze in about 3 or 4 SPs in that time period. (given it's NBC- "Nothing But Commercials" as coined by a NASCAR fan it's wishful thinking, though).

Or they might fill it with fluff, analysis or explanation of the Cop scoring system.

For the other disciplines, if they wanted to, they could show the top 3 or so SPs and then 8 FS's, rather than filling the entire telecast with 10-12 FS's. who knows?

it's a bummer, though, I love watching Terry and Kurt ham it up in teh booth all week.

Isn't Dick scheduled to switch networks? and is there going to be a guest who assists?

I'd like to see Nancy Kerrigan with Dick and Rudy Galindo do the interviews.

I haven't heard anything about the commentary team other than everyone's wishes on who will be on it.

Going by the last Olympics - Scott, Tracy, Dick, and Sandra are probably the front runners...

as long as they don't over stock the experts like they did for Torino it should be ok... but if it's Sandra and Dick I'm going to go insane.
