Even though Jeremy almost fell out of the double axel, I felt like it was because he could have done a triple and remembered at the last moment that he had already done two of them.

He was supposed to do a double toeloop on the end of that double axel. He either remembered too late or just didn't compensate enough on the landing, which is why there was that pause after he landed the axel.

Just watched Koffe's LP (I'm a little late, I know :p). It's the best he's ever done!! This IS him! Wow!!!

I had heard some reputations on Stephane's LP costume first and then saw it. It looked not as bad as I had imagined. It just looked rather boring and may be unflattering for his youth. But it was at least very simple, which seemed better than something overdone. I think it okay compared to a lot of legendary costumes in this season as well as in the past. I even like his SP costume because he looks adorable.:)

I thought that while the design was bad, it wasn't horrendous. What was horrible was that he chose skin/nude colour for his sleeve. He looks like he's wearing a sleeveless costume but slapping on two black triangles on it. It would have been better with another colour. I wouldn't even mind a full black costume. (A bit off topic, but it seems that in general, the slew of young talent is more minimalist than most of the current group, especially in terms of costuming).

But costuming aside, I think he was quite improved from the last time I saw him at 08 US Nats. I actually bought his program and his arms look smoother and mroe expressive. Of course, if you compare him with Jeremy Abbott, he has a way to go, but the program on its own was very enjoyable. Especially considering he's younger than Jeremy, he might improve with time.

I don't care at all about the jumps he doubled; KRISTOFFER IS MADE OF AWESOME!!!!!   There's no better description for him.

I fell in love with Jeremy from the first moment I saw him skate last season, and my sixth sense just "knew" he would make BIG splash at this competition! I admit that I don't like his LP as much as last year's, but he's so musical that there's still a lot I can appreciate.

I did enjoy Tomas' lovely LP, even with the mistakes at towards the end. He's a great performer, and his quad is always drop dead GORGEOUS  (and normally I HATE quads! :p) He does seem to be having trouble holding his nerves lately, but I correctly guessed that he would still medal.

I watched the skate just 'cos I heard that he made a perfect quad :p Now, my LP tape's finally brought home and I will jump into the sofa and enjoy good sound and good tv quality \o/ (No more YouTube-quality if I don't have to ;) )

I will listen closely to everything your sixth sense is willing to tell us about future events  :agree:

:p Well, obviously I make mistakes with my premonitions (perhaps my overwhelming desire to see Kristoffer succeed got in the way of my "readings"? ;)). I just have less errors than the others. As for Stephen, I suspect his horribly retro costumes are blocking my signals! :chorus:

Carriere seems to do a good skate *reading the protocols*, but that costume is so ugly I can't watch him.

Agreed about the colors esp. because his music was strong. Perhaps the conventional red & black, for example, might have been more suitable for this music. I wonder if the nude color might have been meant to be beige. But on the ice, beige often blends too much with the skin color. I guess that this is why Ashley looked half naked in her nude colored costume even though she was fully covered up and no more naked than Yuna or Yukari. Yet, it is ovbious that Stephane's "naked" arms were not meant to be for sexual appeal.

Good for Jeremy, hitting both of his triple axels. I noticed a change in entrance... from that always tense outside edge circle, where he would so often jump "outside the circle' and pop, to more of an almost lutz entrance and he can just jump it straight up. Bravo. And the overall program... especially without other 'complete' men like Buttle, Lambiel and Takahashi in the field... I'd say this guy does NOT need the quad to be a contender.
