Most of the movie is rather the type to raise your eyebrows at, but the finale, when Ewan walks out on Nicole, then comes back singing Come what may, how that can't get to anyone's heart I don't know. It is the type of film that no matter what you think of it, you simply must watch it the whole way through.

I really liked The Cable Guy with Jim Carrey. A lot of people hated it because of it's dark humor, but I laughed so much when I watched it.

With all the people here mentioning "The Village" was there anyone who didn't like it? Seriously, I loved that movie too and I think the main reason why people didn't like it was because of they expected a horror/scary film from the previews. However, I don't understand why anyone expected that. I saw exactly what I expected to see. The only monsters there were the people involved.

I love all of Shyamalan's films.

I didn't "dislike" "The Village"........but I was disappointed. I thought it was going to be a horror movie, and was not happy when it was all a hoax. I have to admit that I was surprised by the ending..........didn't see it coming at all. In that respect, I thought the movie, plot, etc. was well executed.............

I felt the same way about "A Beautiful Mind". I didn't know anything about the plot, and thought perhaps he was being monitored by aliens. Was bummed when I found out it was in his so called "beautiful" mind..........not so beautiful.....42

that movie is disturbed. I love the music and I LOOOVVVVVVVEEEEEEE Ewan McGreggor, but the way the movie played out was

I want to add "Down With Love" starring Renee Zelwinger(sp) and Ewan McGreggor... it is a cute movie, and he's got a great southern accent considering he's Scottish!

I liked "Troy" alot though the reviews I read weren't that great.

I liked Troy too, but compared to the myth it was very disappointing. On its own though it was good.

Darkness Falls, very good movie. Not the most intelligent, but good. I still prefer The Ring for terror though... but then again I have not seen Ringu yet, and of course I hear that it's ten times scarier.

The Brady Bunch movie's! I LOVED the impersonations. if the inuendo's had been taken out and stuff, they would be perfect. Everybody else, (other than my sister, mom and I) hates it.

I loved the Brady spoof movies. It was such a cheesy show and deserved an equally cheesy film spoof. Some of the innuendos were over the top although I do admit dying laughing over the next door neighbor inviting Greg and Peter over for a "sandwhich".

Love/Hate Movies

I thought The Ladykillers (remake with Tom Hanks) was hysterical but everyone dumped on the poor Coen brothers. My, how fickle the crowd - critics fell all over themselves praising 'Brother, Where Art Thou' a pretentious/obtuse rehash of the Ullysees myth which I thought ponderous and unfocused, but they hated The Ladykillers which I felt was much more coherent. Go figure!

I like anime subtitled. Which a lot of people hate. Beyond true anime fan's, I haven't heard bery good things about Anime's with substance, like Ghost in the Shell: innocence or the second Samurai X movie. They say that they're too long, boring, artsy. Like anime's only good to be extremely violent or cartoony.

Also Bicentennial man, titan A.I., the road to el dorado, trasure planet (too short though), and Sinbad.

This country doesn't seem to accept animated film's, unless they're really kiddy or done by Disney.
