Nathan Chen

I would assume Nathan would have lab experience through the required science courses. But it can’t be true that he needs to major in bio or chem (even more lab courses) to get into med school.
Even some who major in like English or other humanities get into top med schools, it doesn’t seem an absolute requirement to have lived in the lab during undergrad ?

True, you don't have to major in bio or chem to complete a pre-med program. But still, you need to do tons of research in a bio lab, believe me.

Everything is possible :)

Even at schools like MIT, there is always someone who can get 100 while others fail.

I am talking about majority of students here :)

Even Nathan does want to pursue a med career, which I fully support him, I still wish he could do it full time after 2022. When you are competing with top athletes or students, there is no way (at least in my eyes) you could do it with 50% effort. I am just worried he would be spead too thin in the next 2-4 years

Vincent's URs are quite obvious and he should improve as much as he can to catch up with other boys. I was sitting at the first row at nationals and I am pretty sure he has that issue. Let's see how it goes in the following seasons.

ECON major would be good for him! I am major in engineering and economics and find econ easier than eng. Also, there is always a lot of fun in all kinds of ECON classes, esp in top universities.
