Listen guys, I’ve seen the costumes Shoma and Hanyu have been wearing on these ice shows (and the reactions to them) and I just want to say I don’t wanna hear any complaining about Nathan costumes ever again ok. You have no idea how good we have it, we should be grateful, I’m just sayin’

Yep..... I saw it,too.
But surprisingly , this year costumes are much better than last year

I actually like Shoma’s jazz program outfit and Yuzu’s blue and yellow top.

I haven't seen many men's costumes that really impress me, perhaps that's one of the reasons I didn't watch men's skating before, sometimes the costumes turn me off immediately.

I like Lambiel's costume in the ATS show, https://youtu.be/pA9zP6p-Mt0, asymmetrical design but well balanced by the single glove, that glove often becomes the focal point. I like simple designs with just one touch of creativity.

Haha, that is one reason I liked that interview. Watched twice to finish the long interview when it came out. His comments about Nathan’s extension and shoma’s look got some angry comments .

Oatmella, can you get his comments about Nathan’s 3A for yyyskate? It should be somewhere when talking about Shoma. Don’t have time to watch it today.

The Worlds Mens FS was rebroadcast on Japanese TV, and it included a short backstage interview. One of Nathan's JP fan blogs provided a transcription and some screen shots.

Q: Congratulations! What are your feelings now?
A: I'm happy to win. I feel I've grown as the season progressed. There were some bitter feelings at the Olympics but I learned from that experience.

Q: Did you know about the scores and results of the skaters before you?
A: Yeah. I knew from Jackie's twitter reports and I was surprised that many skaters fell down the standings. Especially Vincent's score was low so I wanted to help the US team. It's a shame the other competitors made mistakes but I'm satisfied with what I was able to do.

Q: I think you would have won even without the 6 quads so why did you include them?
A: Even with a mistake I would have been able to keep the lead so I felt it was a chance to attempt them. After I landed the 4Lz and 4F I went for the 2nd 4F with no hesitation. Even if I missed it I could recover in the 2nd half, and also with the point differential with the other skaters I felt I could go for it.

Q: With the rule changes for the upcoming season what will be your plan?
A: I don't know the details but I'm looking forward to it. No matter what the changes are I want to progress.

He says Nathan's 3A at OG FS is the best he's ever seen him do. (but sounds like he didn't really watch him until this year - 2018 Nationals practice)

'That axel he did in the long program - he needs to remember what he did and watch that video - that's what I would do if I was his coach, sit down with him and let's look what you did here to create that jump.'

Was that the Dave guy who made that comment? He’s always saying some slick remark that crosses a line imo, he said something about Nathan’s mom too before that I thought was inappropriate. I can’t watch their stuff anymore, too gossipy and unprofessional
