Gaahh! :gaah: Nathan is 17, not 19! When you're 17, 2 years is a big percentage of your age. And Nathan is all the more incredible because he's so driven, composed and undemonstrative (off the ice) for his age.
But this great wrap-up sentence is first-rate! I really love it. It's what the figure skating commentators, former competitors, etc. all seem to get, although many fans of Nathan's competitors naturally may be reluctant to see it. Also that Nathan is most definitely not just about quads jumps; his skating is thrilling musically, especially, where he uses and embodies the music for dramatic effect.
hi all, @Arriba627 recommends me to post DOI I went on Fri. let me write abt Nathan?
Went DOI, Nathan's first show venued in Tokyo, he's amazing, I can say all audience screamed & called Nathan!, even he's got suprised lol. His program's Parachoute, gave good appeal to us, many many waved U.S. flag, he looked really happy. I feel he fascinated us and many feel so too as I can read such comment from SNS. Nathan, thank you! you're welcomed always!! funny&cute program!
Thanks for the report! It confirms what I've read elsewhere that Nathan was treated like a rockstar, and most people say he received the loudest cheers of anyone. I also heard he and Shoma landed SBS quads during the finale.

Does anyone know if this show will be televised and when it will be?
Nathan was awesome, you could tell he was loving all of the attention and cheers. ^Wow, I know Nathan is pretty popular in Japan, but I'd be surprised if he got louder cheers than the really popular Japanese skaters like Uno and Honda. But if he did, amazing for him!

I'm really getting antsy wondering what he will be skating to this upcoming season!!!
It does sound incredible, but that's what everyone is saying on the Japanese social media. He's essentially achieved rockstar status. Even during the finale all he had to do was look at the audience and they'd start screaming.
Wow. That alone would be worth the price of admission.![]()
Not that I'm not loving it, but for someone who has only competed as a senior in Japan once (2016 NHK, if I'm not mistaken), his apparently huge popularity in Japan is quite puzzling to me, especially since he's considered one of Hanyu and Uno's main rivalsIt does sound incredible, but that's what everyone is saying on the Japanese social media. Maybe they like that he has a very distinctively different style than most of the male Japanese skaters?
