how long time has Ponsart been training with Raf. did he already have that 4T before coming into Raf.

He moved to Raf with Mariah during the summer of 2016.

I don't have the inclination to look up all Romain's past results but it looks like he did attempt it a few times before. However his normal score was in the 180-190pt range. At Worlds not only did he attempt 2 4Ts (one UR), he landed 2 clean 3As as well. His final score of 229pts was the highest of any Frenchman this season. Aymoz is #2 with 220pts.

If he did apply to and gets accepted to Stanford - most do not turn Stanford down - they have the highest acceptance yield at over 80%. But we will see! Another pro of Stanford is that there are other superstar athletes there so he won’t be quite so overwhelmed with attention - well maybe that would still be the case anyways haha

Nathan's baby programs (pre-quad) are figure skating treasure box, you can literally find all examples of move in the field, transitions, entries, exists etc in it.

I checked out Marin's FF. Some of her fans are not happy or sure about this coaching change. Some have hoped she will be send to BO, since BO is better at developing whole package skater (it rumored that Wakababy will be sent to BO instead). Some worried that Marin's SS will stagnant. and some worried it may turn out to be a Mao Asada situation.
if Wakababy is indeed sent to BO, I somhow saw a Yuna vs Mao 2.0 here.

But yeah, if Marin's SS rubs Nathan and stimulates Nathan's competitive fire in components. it will be a good thing to see.

I don’t know a lot about Marin - is she mentally tough? I think that would be necessary to work successfully with Raf.
Marin and Nathan could practice SS together.

there is some coincidences in terms of Names about Nathan (not superstitious ) this season
Nathan's SP "nemesis" turns out to be his nemesis in OG
Nathan's EX "no good" is no good since it was not even performed in OG gala
Nathan's FP "last dancer", he is indeed the last dancer of this whole OG season in men's discipline.

But I hope my beloved Nathan Boi WILL have better luck in his next games, any superstitious stuff please stay away from him.

Also, I heard Marin Honda will go to Raf to train full time, I guess she is going for Raf's jump tech prowess.
I will wait and see how Marin's jump will progress in the future.
Mariah Bell came to Raf specifically to improve his jumps, I noticed the change in her jump tech, is it better now, I don't kr.
Also according to Dave Lease, Jenny Kirk think that Raf ruined Michelle Kwan's lutz.
Also, IIRC Hannah Miller went to Raf specifically for his jump tech ability, seems did not work out
Vivian Le, one of the most promising junior lady with that explosive lutz, went to Raf after her junior success, now completely vanished...
Raf also has some talented youngsters training under him since younger age (like Nathan), I will wait and see how will they turn out in the future.

Let me ask you. Haven’t Ashley, Brezina and Adam to mention some, got more consistent under RAF?I remember Mariam a few years ago when I was attending Skate America. She was cheating almost all of her jumps. To fix that in an older skater is not a few momths of work, because as a coach you break down the jump. After all she made worlds twice under Raf. As for David Lease, he runs his mouth a lot, against a coach or a skater who doesn’t pay attention to him. I will personally never listen to him, unless he is interviewing someone I care. If he only knew what it takes...I don’t think a coach can solve every skater’s problems. You have to take into consideration the family dynamic, the skater’s work ethic, the body changes, etc... and some of the girls you mention might not be destined to become champions. Not every one is.
