Where can I watch the video?
Yeah those are the videos I was talking about but I couldn’t remember off the top of my head where I had seen these. Kurt didn’t specify what ”working” with Nathan meant but I just took it to mean choreography, otherwise I’m not sure what other kind of work he could be doing with Nathan? I also vaguely remember he had said choreography for Nathan on another occasion that wasn’t a video interview, plus he has mentioned Nathan’s versatility multiple times, which from a choreographer’s point of view would naturally be a great quality to work with.I believe shine was referring to this video, FB live with his fans last June, it is “Is there anyone who you wish you could’ve skated with who you never got to work with”, not choreography
Actually Kurt loves Nathan’s skating. In the CBC broadcast of the 2015 junior men’s GPF, Nathan skated to Chopin’s Piano Concerto #1. Kurt was already gushing over Nathan’s skating and artistry (skating with an old soul). This was 15 yr old Nathan before he did so many quads and could focus on performance, I love this program. So balletic.
Thanks for straightening me out guys. I realize I might have gotten Kurt's comments about another skater mixed up with Nathan's. It's been a long week for me. Sorry Kurt!!! On the possibility you might read this, I apologize.Yeah Kurt's always very complementary of Nathan actually - not sure how fierysky got the opposite impression. Even when he was asked who he'd like to work with on choreography, he said Nathan.

So does anyone want to guess Nathan's layouts for WTT? Last time he did 1 quad in the SP and 3 in the FS, but he was sick and there was less competition. If he isn't feeling too poorly I think he may just use the SA layouts that were originally submitted for Worlds.
Yup, I was gonna say the same thing. Especially the SP. I loved it at Skate America, the intensity and energy of it, and I would hope that an easier layout would make him skate less tense and more like at those early competitions. If he isn't feeling too poorly I think he may just use the SA layouts that were originally submitted for Worlds.

In that case won’t it be better if he does the 4T3T and then the 4F? The toe combo should be easier for him and I miss his solo flip (higher BV when backloaded to boot).Layout wise, I hope he does a 4F3T, 4T for the SP at the Olympics. He doesn't need to do a layout that hard or risky in the SP when the FS is his strength. Just get through the SP. My blood pressure will not be able to take him doing a combo in the 2nd half at the Olympics is all I'm saying.
You mean 2019 All That Skate? Or that other show with Shoma?
