Nikolaj Memola’s costumes, skates stolen

I'm quite disappointed to hear this and hope Memola gets his skates and costume back soon! 🤞

I'm wondering, is he one of those Italian athletes that are sponsored by the police force? If so, perhaps the local detectives would be able to prioritize his case or give him additional assistance?

I'm so sad, I hope that all is good bone- and ligament-wise!
A few weeks ago Surya Bonaly had all her medals stolen, but Nikolaj Memola critically needs his skates! (A costume can be redone even if he loves this.)
In 1987, French Violinist Pierre Amoyal was stolen his car with his Stradivarius inside, which was found back only four years later. I hope that Nikolaj Memola will recover his skates very soon!

Very sad, I hope that both or at least one item get found soon. What good would FS skates and costumes be to a thief, especially since most singles figure skaters are much shorter than Nikolaj, and using another person's boots is generally not a good idea? I hope the person finds enough integrity to leave the bag near a police station or something. No gain for them in the contents, but a lot of trouble and anguish for Nikolaj on top of his injury. Hoping for a positive outcome.

ETA, right before the Golden Spin he's entered in, too. Such bad luck :(

Do I understand this correctly? Somebody broke into his car...but instead of stealing his car...he stole skates and costume only?

Sure it is possible that the person didn't how to start up the car...
People also usually steal equipment from the car - radio, GPS, ....
The person really stole skates and costume only?

I don't know the details at all but if Nikolaj left a sport's bag on the back seat, some petty thieves just break the window and take the bag and go, hoping there's something valuable in there. Often, if they don't like what they see, they just throw the bag and its content in the next garbage can...
