I can't see Corwin making the world team, unless a lot of other people make so many mistakes at Nationals that they'd have no choice but to put her on it. Besides having a lot of international assignments and doing nothing of any particular merit with them, she's also got the "too old" label hanging over her similar to the one Tonia Kwiatkowski had, only at least Tonia got better international results. With all the younger up-and-coming ladies in the wings, i.e, Czisny, Taylor, Meissner, Liang, I think that if Amber had any chance of making the World team, it passed her by a few seasons ago. They're not going to give it to her now, even if Nikidonov and Kirk have had their share of problems the last few years.

So many withdrawals from so many competitions. I don't think the schedule is too heavy. Now I am not suggesting that someone who is legitimately injured should skate, but these are supposed to be world class athletes. They need to step up to the plate.

(And I'd rather see Czisny skate than Onda any day.)
