Of course I do, since I didn't even notice this year until you said something! Speaking of which, he still needs to update his official website, too!

Anybody else want to remind him?

I don't know if this one has already been mentioned.

"I Need A Dollar"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BnHn0TdcZ6g

It's an exhibition program that I believe was choreographed by Christopher Dean and used in 2013 worlds and his first Stars On Ice tour. When I saw it on SOI, I really felt that he was nervous and he dropped his hat twice.
Ah yes, another fun one I'd forgotten about!!!!! Here's a skate where he didn't drop his hat. ;) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WOTnydzJtCo

Congrats, vivley, for having Patrick reply to you! What an honor! :cheer:

Oh, yeees. He's so cute ** They lost his music, and Patrick didn't know what to do. I love this moment **

I love to see the audience laughing with Patrick! We need more moments like these!

"I Need a Dollar" is one of my favorite EX programs - would love to see him do something similar in the future.

Thanks! I am very, very grateful because Patrick usually doesn't reply to people on social media unless it's someone he personally knows, and even then it's rare. So just a few words from him made my night (and day)! Still  !

^^^^^ you deserve it !!!!!!!!!!!!

btw, i like that patrick stays away from social media. That's a good strategy while he's competing. So yeah, indeed, that is a tweet to print and frame! So happy for you !

Watching Patrick's 2008 Nationals FS from vivley's Best of list. I really do love his footwork, and he was only 17 here! The commentators were so ecstatic about his edges even then.

A couple of impressions from this: he hasn't aged a bit in all these years and he was a lot flashier in his outfits back then. What happened to the bling, Patrick!? Also, Patrick + boards always :luv17:

Speaking of the commentary at the time, it was kind of fun to hear them mention his 3A consistency, because everything I've read from here and seen in recent times tells me that's his nemesis jump.

Patrick used to have a gorgeous 3A, 3Lz and 3F... I personally didn't like his 3S or 3L back then... those where his scary jumps for me...

Then, he learned the 4T... and we cannot blame him for repeating that jump in his programs... not sure back then why he decided to repeat the 3Lz instead of the the 3A but it seems to me that working on the 4T and performing the 3A only once in programs made him more nervous about the 3A... i doubt it was a huge technical mistake with him but mostly a confidence thing....

Since adding the 2nd 3A in the LP last year, Patrick is getting better and better with consistency on it, and on top of that, this year, he seems to have added power to his 3A... IT"S HUGE...

the 3lz is the jump that bugs me this year...

So, in light of that, it seems to me, and perhaps I am wrong, but knowing how Patrick is being kind and careful to his body, I wouldn't be surprised if working on the 4S and 4T and 3A is taking most of his jumping time... and he does maybe feel a bit less stable on the 3lz right now??? Just my impression... btw... I have rarely seen Patrick struggle as much on his 4T as this year... and it's easy to explain, considering he has been working so much on the 4S. Even himself admitted it.

In the end, I think that since he doesn't seem to plan to add new jumps, that his content should be very stable in a few months... and definitely next year.

This seems logical, because once you focus a bit too much on trying to land a particular jump, especially a new one, you might lose a bit of the feel of others. You're right, his 3A has become really powerful and a lot more steady compared to past years. Seems he's been going at it with more speed too and I guess confidence? Watching these earlier videos, I get what you mean about his 3Lz going a bit weary.

Haha, I think he can't stay away. He said in an interview a few months ago that he has to have his "entertainment". But maybe that's changed, now that he's reading sports psychology books...

Yes, my first reaction after it sunk in was "what if the tweet disappears? I'd better take a screenshot of this quick!" I also bookmarked the tweet and showed it to one of my Canadian co-workers today. :) Printing will be next - maybe I can get him to sign a printed screenshot of his tweet! :laugh2:

I'm so so so happy for you vivley!

Thank you so much! I'm still so excited!

BTW all, nice new photos and videos of Patrick from 4CC keep getting posted, so I updated my two blog posts tonight:

Congrats to VB for his 10000 posts :clapper:.

The majority of his posts are contributed on Patrick's fan fest, he should be forgiven for not celebrated this high number with us :).
