Last year's show was wonderful, and I hope this year's is great too.

Penny and Nick won the Bavarian Open and earned their personal scores in all three categories at 2016 Europeans.

It has been a good spring.

I updated their OP for Worlds.

Best luck, guys, in Boston.

I am also really rooting for them! My dream is for them to break into the top 6- unfortunately not sure it's realistic this year but I will be hoping for them all the same, and I always love watching them  Best of luck!

Congrats on the great score in SD! I knew you caould do it! keep it up in the Free :cheer:

So stoked about their 7th place finish.
So proud that they broke through many barriers (including an endless list of illnesses and injuries)- to think that two years ago, Nick had life saving heart surgery! Just amazing.

It's going to be interesting what will happen to them in the next 2 years. I hope they will find a way to rise through the ranks and find ways to narrow the gap. In plain terms- they scored 171 points of a possible 200 or so points. They might not get to the top but they should attack with their very unique programs.

7th place! :yahoo: We can start predictig what GP assingments they will get

Also, i was blowm away by their edge quality. A past criticism of them was that they lacked in skating skills, but they showed us this comp with all their level 4s is that they have improved their skating so much.

I admit I really just discovered this team at this Worlds. I really enjoyed them, especially their waltz program, and their happy personalities shine through their skating!

I've been a fan Penny & Nick for a couple of seasons now, I watched them live in 2014 when they got the bronze medal at Europeans. It was great to see them in person, their Michael Jackson medley FD was so good.
I really liked their Muse FD this (and last) season, and it's great that - inspite of that they didn't compete all last season - even the judges liked it, so they could get their best result at Worlds so far.

I love their programs. They said in interviews that they love innovating and are not into overly romantic or intimate programs.
I also go for them because since I don't have an underdog dance team from my country to root for at the major competitions.

Also think of their list of illness. Not only did they have the issues last year, Nick had life-saving heart surgery in the Olympic season.
