Pictures in your signature?

how can I get a picture as part of my signiture.. those long rectangular ones.....

You have to make it yourself. Be sure not to use copyrighted images. Then post it on some picture-hosting site, like photobucket. The edit your signature and use

also make sure the width isn't so big that it funkafies the board's layout

Toni's (above) is 427 pixels wide. SeaniBu's Fumie banner is about 500, which is just a tad too wide, depending on your monitor settings, etc.
