Polina Tsurskaya leaves Tutberidze

Notice the difference: she leaves the current coach (immediately confirming it publicly) and only then searches for the new one :agree:
That's how you do it if you're a decent person.

This is so hilariously wrong.

If I want to quit my job, I make sure I have another job lined up and ready to go.

The job analogy is on point to be honest for me...Of course, how many people, that many approaches, but for me labelling them as 'decent' or not is totally subjective matter. I think (not being 100% sure ofc) that securing a coach before announcing split with the current one may give one a sense of stability/security to go forward, another cup of tea is (ofc) how the split goes itself and if it will have an influence over next partnership...

All the best to Polina - may she challenge and develop herself in best way possible!

Lol, how much time was even inbetween Polya confirming her leave from Eteri and her being in CSKA (if that was the order at all)? Not even half a day?

Where was Evgenia shown to not be a decent human being? When she stayed classy while Eteri decided to throw mud? Try to answer with something that we actually know is real. And honestly, there is nothing wrong with a skater searching out a potential new coach to make sure they'd be accepted there before leaving their old one and potentially ending up coach-less. Especially when previous students trying to leave that coach faced... difficulties.
Poor Polina seriously doesn't need to be dragged into a nonsense argument like that.

Rumours about Polina appeared on the same day as article about Evgenia leaving Eteri. Also I read information from few different sources that Polina didn't leave - Eteri kicked her out probably expecting her to comeback with flowers (lol) like Alina did few years ago and apparently it wasn't the first time she treated Polya this was. However this time Polina decided enough is enough and didn't come back.
Polina saved some money for flowers, she's smart!!

Zhenya leaving may have given Polina the confidence to leave. Seeing Eteri’s favorite student say, “I’ve had enough” was likely empowering to the rest of the group.

I am late but still want to wish the best of luck and health to Polina!

I am actually very curious to see how it goes. Buyanova now has a group of very talented and distinguishing girls: Masha, Polina, Lena and Nastya G. (whom I personally like very much).... It would be very interesting to see the Rus Nats next year: Eteri's little monsters vs CSKA girls vs St. Petersburg girls vs TCC girl...:cool2:

Yes that program was like a program made for a skater in an adult competition.
What was the music of that SP?

From Game of Thrones, Light of the seven.

Also from FSU, someone who is interviewing Moris says he doesn't know where these rumors about him leaving Eteri came from. Lol

I'm very happy for Polina too. If she can stay healthy I feel like Buyanova has inherited a diamond in the rough. Polina's jumps are to die for. Tons of speed, height, coverage and ride out. I'd put her right in line with Kaetlyn when it comes to jumping...very wow! worthy. With the right vehicle and a bit of polishing, Polina could be amazing.

I feel like she's been overlooked in Eteri's camp for the past two years. A talent that amazing shouldn't be pushed to the back of the pack so I'm happy she's made the move. I'm hoping Buyanova will help her really establish herself this season. I see what they've done with Maria from a presentation standpoint and that gives me some hope we'll see a more refined and polished Polina. If they can get her some strong programs she can definitely make a run at the top 3 in Russia.

I'm definitely crossing my fingers for CSKA. I adore Gubanova and Radionova and I'm a big fan of both Sotskova and Tsurskaya. Hoping to see good things from all of them this year!

I love Polina's jumps and think she has so much more potential than what we've seen so far. I wish her the best of luck :)

Really happy for Polina, I love her skating! Really wish she was the one going to Orser/David Wilson. :scratch2: I know everyone has a different style, but she is the only one out of the Russian girls besides Anna P. and maybe Tukt who I can see pulling off a musical masterpiece with David, like he did for Yuna in Danse Macabre or Gershwin. Her skating has flow, is unpretentious, subtle, and has the potential to be both soft and accentuated especially with choreo like David's.

I wish, too, that she go to Brian Orsen, too.
Or to Arutunian.
With her jumping skills, I'm sure she would cooperate awesome with them.

That‘s how you do it if you‘re a stupid person. According to you Evgenia should have left Eteri first and only THEN asked Orser to take her in? What would have happened if he had said no? Well. Eteri wouldn‘t have taken her back, that‘s for sure. In Polina‘s case it was different, lol.

Anyway, I‘m quite excited for Polina. She‘s always been in the shadow of others. First Evgenia, now Alina and all the quad girls of course. Making a change will be good for her. Maybe for once she‘ll get the attention she deserves.

Everything about your statement is just so wrong.
That’s not how the real world works, as someone else mentioned; if you aren’t completely devoid of intelligence you make sure you have a new job lined up before leaving your current one.
This is Med’s career, she needs to look out for herself and she doesn’t owe anything to her former coach. Just like you don’t owe anything to a former employer.

I don't think Evgenia has been disrespectful in any way, she thanked Sambo70 and Eteri for everything they've done for her, but the moment you leave, you're alone, so Evgenia needed to find a new coach immediately to see if the move is worth it.

Evgenia saw this happening for other skaters, not always ending up well, so i think she planned this in advance cause she wanted to make it right, especially considering that working abroad while still competing for Russia is difficult.

I'm concerned for Polina cause we don't know who is going to be her new coach, honestly i think she should go to Mishin to keep her beautiful technique, otherwise work abroad.

Buyanova

Is that your guess or her choice? cause i really don't like it.

I don't like Buyanova's attempt to match Eteri Tutberidze by "buying" skaters from other clubs.

Her skaters aren't consistent, she loses interests on her students very quickly, it didn't work for Radionova from the very beginning, the only positive aspect about this is the fact that Polina could work more on her artistry but honestly i don't see this ending up well.

Sorry, I just need to ask because I can't figure it out...What (who?) is TCC?
