That was a nice jump. I'm curious if there's a bit of change of prep strategy in wake of the injury. He usually goes all out -- I remember at TCC when others were just doing parts or skipping jumps in the practice, Jason did a full run through.
It must feel weird to not be coming off several weeks of intense training---he basically has to trust that his training prior to the injury/jump technique/muscle memory will help him do his best. If he somehow pulls through and gets a world team (and/or 4CC) spot, I think it will be more of a victory of the mind and less of the physical kind.
Dave said Alex Johnson looks great, too.

Really? This is it? This is all we have about the brand new program is Lease's pathetic, evident dislike of anything Max?
Gee thanks TSL, that's so helpful :disapp:Dave said Alex Johnson looks great, too.

I was just about to say the same...What the h*ll was that?? If Dave's true intent is to enlighten people about skating and the things that are taking place we prepare for the biggest event in US skating. He is falling drastically short. Maybe he should have a correspondent for skaters he doesn't appreciate so that we could get a clear, and more importantly, fair and enthusiastic report on how Max is doing. How is his new SP and how is it coming across to the audience?

Karne, not to be a Dave apologist, but he didn't say much about anyone. I don't know if you've ever tried to tweet or post while watching practice, but I did at Skate America. If you don't want to miss anything, it's tough to do more than spit out a few words.
Wow, I've had a feeling about her all season. I hope she can hold it together and have a great skate in the SP. I'm still worried about Gracie but, Ashley is looking great. The Ladies don't skate until Friday, right? If so, I'm hoping Gracie's just feeling her way into the event. At this point, I just want to know how her speed is. In the video I saw, Ashley was really flying and so was Mariah Bell. Mariah's jumps didn't look that great but, she is fast and surprisingly tall..
. And off topic but Mariah Bell looks alike Liana LiberatoWhen do the ladies practice? Is there a practice schedule available?

She is not so tall, she has very long legs. I remember that picture with Ashley, Ashley is taller than Mariah. And off topic but Mariah Bell looks alike Liana Liberato
Shibs are not in practice yet?
it's hard to tweet while watching a practice session and keeping an eye on everything going on. he gave the same amount of coverage to other skaters, nothing agianst max. stop looking for hate
I'm really not that emotionally invested in TSL. After hearing the way he's talked about Max, it seemed like a condescending way to describe his skating

well i dont think he means it out of malice, but if you look at his choreography and compare it to other skaters you definitely see a difference in usage of edge and transitions, and as far as i know he isn't the only one to speak out against it, i know that those very liberal hip teenagers that took over the worlds twitter last year also express that dismay towards max' skating, but it's never malicious or mean or towards the skater.
