Hi Everyone,

Please protect your passwords. Switch it up every once in a while, so that what happened to Anya Angie doesn't happen to you. Yikes!

What's more pathetic is this person knows Angie, and Angie has not talked to her in awhile because...well. Duh. She's an immature dumbass.

It's the real me here. I can't believe what has happened here. I hope that you guys realize (thank you Lanie for sticking up for me) that this person just posed as me. I've since blocked all of her access to my site and AIM and changed all passwords.

Well, Angie, I knew it wasn't you since...well...you have better taste and class that that "Leroy" person.

Someone Angie knows posted pornographic images and rascist stuff after hacking into her account last night. Said person is also denying it.

Don't worry, Angie - no one on this forum would ever have taken that trash as coming from you. It was obvious what happened (if not how it happened).

I agree with Goldmedalist that a West Coast mod would not be a bad idea so such things can be dispatched immediately.

Tonichelle lives in Alaska. But we can't be on line 24-7. A big thanks to all the GS members who called our attention to the problem either by the complaint procedure (the little red triangle at the bottom left of each post), or by PM or email.

that is the key. I normally would have been on at the time that all heck broke loose, but I was on the road battling traffic trying to get back to Anchorage from Kenai.

and not to be whiney, but I've been a mod for how long and a member even longer and there are people who don't know I'm on the west coast????? *gasp* I'm hurt!

Yes, we can all alert a problem. A "not really but wouldn't be nice" thoughts, we shouldn't even need mods;)

Passwords should not be obvious. For example mine has absolutely NOTHING to do with Fumie. Most have nothing to do with any of my interests or ... well I am sure you understand without explaining further.

Please excuse my ignorance, what happened to Anya Angie?

In answer to my own question, I just read some of the replies above. That is terrible. I am always very careful with my passwords for everything. My husband and I also have a firewall on our system. That is another way of preventing this sort of thing happening. Thanks for the reminder!!

I'd like to know if I can contact one of the admins, I don't know who, to see if they can give me the ISP of the person who hacked the account so I can compare it to the one who hacked my website, because I honestly believe it was the same person despite her denying that she broke into my site. She now says she did hack into GS, but still denies the hack on my writing site.

Angie - there's only one admin and that's Paula... you can contact her at - [email protected] <--the link can be found at the bottom of every page of the forum :)

Thanks very much, but Mathman PMed me and gave me the ISP. The person Lanie and I thought was responsible admitted it today that she is guilty of hacking here, but still denied my site's hacking UNTIL I asked her about her activities on the site the day of the hack, and then I nailed her by revealing that the ISP that deleted the board and the ISP that made the changes she talked about herself making were a match. So she's guilty and I managed to confront her successfully.
