I know it's so exciting. This weekend is literally like the Christmas of figure skating. So many new Russian ladies programs to unveil. All in 2 days!
Apparently Denis said he was recovering from a back injury and will only start back training on Monday.Oh no, I was really looking forward to seeing Shevchenko/Eremenko and Stepanova/Bukin in particular. I assume health/injury related WDs? (I believe Daria Pavliuchenko at least has a known injury)
anyone know if channel one will stream on their YT channel?
And the free skate link is up too:- YouTube

I’m on the east coast of US. What time is test skates? I’ve seen a lot of conflicting info.
4:55am it is
I actually mentioned it above, but I was 5 minutes off for some reason.Sorry to be the bearer of bad news
A dilemma indeed. On the one hand, staying awake is not a problem, but then switching back to being awake during the local work hours on Monday would be ... an experience ... Aiming to watch only women live does sound like a healthier option.FWIW, some of us are on the west coast of the US. Does 1:55am count as staying up too late or getting up too early?
How naughty am I? As a fellow west coaster, when I see a comp starting at 2:00 am I think "oh well not too late to watch some skating".FWIW, some of us are on the west coast of the US. Does 1:55am count as staying up too late or getting up too early?
(I'm not actually going to get up that early, I'm just going to try to be up in time or the women, maybe pairs.)
This sounds like a response to "You Know You're a Figure Skating Fan When..."when I see a comp starting at 2:00 am I think "oh well not too late to watch some skating".
Ha...I was thinking the same thing while typing it. Great minds, eh?This sounds like a response to "You Know You're a Figure Skating Fan When..."
Me too! I was so looking forward to seeing S/B and S/E - I wonder what the reason is.Oh no, I was really looking forward to seeing Shevchenko/Eremenko and Stepanova/Bukin in particular. I assume health/injury related WDs? (I believe Daria Pavliuchenko at least has a known injury)
I love going to bed early, but not going to lie, 3am's my "oh that's definitely not too early to wake-up for a few hours of skating before work"!How naughty am I? As a fellow west coaster, when I see a comp starting at 2:00 am I think "oh well not too late to watch some skating".
